If I could rate a zero I would! Okay so my first time stopping by this location, the drive through line was wrapped around the building and like most of the Zaxby's locations, I assumed the inside was closed. After about a 10 minute wait, a young lady came out and said the inside was open. The inside of this establishment was not clean at all but I overlooked the uncleaniness and continued with my order, which as long as it took I could have stayed in the drive through . Well because of the convenience, I decided to give this location another go, bad decision. This time I went straight in since I knew the inside was open. There was a guy hang up sign's in the lobby, which I later found was the manager, but no one at the register. The young that was standing over by drive through made eye contact with me and continued to talk to the other associate. After a couple of minutes and nothing, I said is anyone working the front, the manager said yes we're open an called for someone to come get on the register. Okay so the manager not only saw me when I came in but was aware that I was waiting! Okay so now this young man comes from the back and asked the young lady who was standing over by drive that made eye contact with me, for her login so he could take my order. Wow!!!! Needless to say they went back and forth for about 3 to 5 minutes about why he needed her code and why she wouldn't give it to me. Finally my order was taken! So of course, I gave my feedback on my experience and the manager reached out to me. He said that he would like to make it up to me, so the next time I come in to ask for him. Okay so it was 10 days later that I returned to the location and like all the other times it was complete kios with wrong orders and orders missing. I read the man's badge and knew he was the manager. I got his attention and ask to speak with him, this man acted completely clueless about the whole situation and told me I had to return with the original receipt. Are you serious!! I have the original receipt, but do not see the need to patronize or give this establishment anymore of my time. ...
Read moreThe new dipping chicken there was awful. It was suppose to be a chicken and waffle meal. This item was super late coming out. That I asked could I please have the rest of my order, so, everything else didn't get cold. The cashier kept asking for our order from the back. The gentleman never made it. He claims because the rest of the order was not there...it was inaudible what the rest of his excuse was framing into. I took my order... and looked quickly...the waffles looked nothing like the Belgian wedges I saw pictured. They were flat and oddly misshapen. I was an hour from one of my destinations, so, quickly jumped on the road. I went to take my initial bite of waffle, which was undercooked and had doughy spots. I didn't worry...was a bit upset. Thought maybe I could salvage the waffles later by putting it in the toaster. The traffic was so bad, I could not return to the store. I had a few bites of my chicken...it was just chicken tenders, nothing special. The fries seemed okay, no seasoning. I said that I would just try it all when I got home. So...please don't try to put these so-called waffles in a traditional toaster. Even for a short moment in time. They simply disintegrate when trying to remove them. I had to open the bottom to get the rest out, yet, none was eatable. Whoever is cooking at this establishment has to be retrained.
Side Issue Within this Restaurant:
There was also a young woman in the bathroom that had just finished mopping the floors in the manner that should have been left for closing. The chemicals were in the toilet, yet, many had to go, so this employee allowed it. I am mentioning this aspect, because they employee had stopped working in a crowded restaurant so that she could call her mother from one of the stalls. There were only two. An employee was trying to go in after me... I usually have my own sanitary wipes and had not noticed that there was no paper in the stalls. Read moreI typically pass Zaxby's but for some reason I stopped. BIG MISTAKE. Zaxby's located at 4805 Flat Shoals PKwy, Decatur, GA 30034 fraudulently used my credit card to make Amazon and doordash purchases after not giving the credit card back upon the completion of my food purchase order.
My card got left because of an error a cashier made. She charged me for someone else order by mistake. Ok no biggie she gave me the difference in cash. After waiting even longer I got my food and left.
I realized the next day going to get gas I didn't have my card. Immediately logged into wells fargo to lock my card and noticed a purchase for $261.80 at Amazon and 44.35 to DoorDash pending. I hadn't spent anything since Zaxby's but someone employed at this establishment did and wow the audacity to commit credit fraud.
I called to see if they had my card and they said YES ITS HERE LOCKED IN THE SAFE. I contacted the police to keep the peace because I was heated! I had a Dekalb County officer escort me inside to retrieve the card. The store manager on camera and with the police gave me my card back. I did that to make sure there is proof of me being handed my card back during the same time the fraud occured by someone employed there. The card is on their premise and in their possession until I had an officer escort me to collect the card yet I have purchases on my card. I went ahead filed an official police report on this incident and will pursue legal action if necessary.
This complaint process I am dragging them thru as of now will directly affects this individual franchisee, this will be their business rep on the line because I'm like a dog with a bone. I'll have the last...
