Zuzu's — Restaurant in Georgia

Worst experience at this establishment. Clearly says that they provide take out service but no one answers the phone. I drove, parked....then walked 3 blocks to this place to place my order. After informing the hostess of my desired choices...I was informed that they don't provide takeout. I wasted 30 minutes of MY time to try and spend money at this establishment. Simply STATE that you don't provide take out on your website and on a sign at the front. What the hell did you guys do during the so-called...."pandemic"?... Throw the food on the curb and hope someone paid for it? The owner(s)....the hostess...the entire staff was rude, arrogant and ignorant. I can only imagine what the food tastes like... So....if you are reading this... avoid this place like the plaque. I ended up at PORCHES restaurant (The porch). Amazing food and a very pleasant experience. I come to this area several times a year.... wished I would have never walked...

My family has been coming here for a very long time, every year when planning meals Zuzu’s is the most highly anticipated place on our list. Upon arrival we instantly noticed something was wrong. The staff was completely new, it was also extremely hot and humid with no air. After getting seated we noticed the menu was completely different missing some of our go to items. We had not even ordered before we heard the people behind us get up leaving pretty much all their food, saying and I quote “I can’t believe they’ve screwed this place up that bad”. We noticed the woman cooking was drying out the burgers as well as splitting them in half before putting them on the bun. We ended up just getting ice cream and leaving. Sad to say we wont be going back, and I don’t think they will make...

Service was okay. My food on the other hand wasn't. Ordered the philly with steak not chicken the waitress said did you want the steak(kinda like I wasn't looking at the right item on the menu, but it clearly states chicken or steak. Lol). I said no mayo with it clearly says comes on the sandwich and she says well it doesn't come with mayo anyway but the menu says it does so I was covering my tracks. I ordered onion rings instead of fries which were clearly from the freezer and not hommade. They were doughy and wasn't even crunchy. They didn't even have a golden brown look at all, they didn't even looked cooked when they were brung to the table. I gave 2 stars because the pamento cheese was really good.
