Miss Muff'n — Restaurant in Germantown

When I was little, my favorite cake was a strawberry cake by Miss Muff’n. My grandmother would pick them up throughout the year for birthdays, Easter, and family gatherings. Now, I pick them up whenever our family gets together. Each bite brings back those memories for our extended family while creating new ones with our new spouses and tiny additions.

Every single bite is delicious. That’s an understatement. Everyone I have introduced to Miss Muff’n’s cakes always asks who made them. I have ordered smash cakes for our children. I’ve ordered birthday cakes (strawberry, chocolate, funfetti, vanilla, and lemon). I’ve also ordered numerous baby shower cakes with beautiful designs. I alway ask for the buttercream icing because my family wants the best tasting cake. You can always stop in for cookies—if they aren’t sold out—and the key lime pie I’ve ordered during the summer was my favorite in town. I order this dessert at every restaurant, and I felt like Kelsey made the best one.

Most importantly, words cannot express how wonderful Kelsey and her staff at Miss Muff’n are. They are always attentive to your ideas and work to create the best treat possible for your occasion. I will always spend my money at this small...

CAKE BUYER BEWARE: I’ll start off by saying this isn't a attempt to bash this business. I am only taking the time to report the less than professional work that I received from this bakery. The cake looked as though it was rushed and decorated by someone who should be decorating at a amateur home bakery. I paid $377 for a 3 tiered cake that was presented to me UNEVEN/Leaning to the point I was afraid it would fall over at any second. The cake was given to me NOT IN A BOX, the owner stated she didn’t have a box to put it in so she had no choice but to send me out of her store with a 3 tier cake in my hand without any form or covering or protection. They deviated from the original design with notifying me of any changes. The added frosting trim that they added was only to hide the true unevenness each tier of the cake.

I did contact the owner who was somewhat pleasant, she did listen to my concerns and apologize for all of the imperfections but that was about all she did, not even an offer of a discount on a future order, not that I would go back.

AVOID this place for custom cake orders...

If I could give a zero for customer service I would. I sent my husband to take my daughter to order a 16th Birthday cake. She showed some pictures of what she was thinking and the employee said “we make the cake” we do not decorate them. Bahahahahaha! Even with this statement, my sweet husband and daughter said, okay, we can buy the decorations and decorate it ourselves. The employee took my husband’s name and number to call back for order.
