Being born and raised in Hawaii, it was exciting to see the Ahi Poki Gilbert, Arizona, location opening. Their Poki was the best in the east valley living in a desert. But unfortunately, over the last few years, the quality continuously declined. Regardless, my patronage continued to satisfy a quick fix. The business demand for food delivery services like GrubHub, Uber Eats, etc., grew with the pandemic. It seems to compound the issue of correctly filling orders and skimping even more on the portion size. I am a creature of habit and order the following on each visit: A large three scoop salad with two extra scoops (only tuna and octopus) and all toppings. As you can see from the attached picture, there is no edamame, masago, crab salad, seaweed salad, furikake, cucumbers, green onions, cilantro, sesame seeds, sprouts, and wasabi. In addition, the comments state extra wasabi and "no rice." Finally, the picture of tuna and octopus is not a reflection of a five-scoop portion, even with the additional charge of $5.90 for extra scoops. At least visiting the restaurant in person, they do not mess up the order directions and portion size. Unfortunately, it is the final nail in the coffin! They lost a customer and earned a poor rating on every internet site I posted the review! Your money is better spent buying the ingredients and searching for a poke recipe. I have several family and local recipes. Let me know if anyone...

This is my second time enjoying a lunch here and it thankfully was as good as it was the first time! I brought my husband to try it because it is like a delicious, deconstructed sushi roll and my husband loves Sushi more than anything.

We both got the half and half, which is half brown or white rice and 1/2 salad and I chose tuna and salmon and my husband did the same, but added an extra scoop of spicy tuna. Last time I got shrimp and salmon, which was also good, but I figured it would be best to get their specialty of raw Ahi tuna versus shrimp that I can get anywhere.

We both got most of the other toppings like the crab mix, edamame, cucumbers, green onion, red onion, seaweed salad, seaweed Flakes and fried onion flakes, masago and we both tried pickled radishes for the first time, which are nothing like you would think. They are great and unexpected.

With a house sauce on top (mix of sesame oil and soy sauce), we mixed it all together and it was fresh and delicious. My husband convinced me to get an ice cream sandwich macaron and he was the bad influence for me getting my own. He chose green tea and because I don't like that flavor I opted to get...

I just left this establishment very unsatisfied!!! They where rude and rushing with no customers service. It was 10 minutes before close and they had already pulled all the station items and had been washing the utensils. I own a restaurant we dont do that until it is closing time and doors locked!! Because they started to close up early they had washed the serving utensils and didnt want to wash them again, the boy proceeded to scoop my items using tiny 1oz plastic sauce cups! I ordered the large bowl and ended up with the portion of a small bowl they had nothing but kelp noodles and brown rice so I settled for kelp noodles and recieved a portion that couldn't even fill the bottom of the bowl, he couldn't properly scoop the kimchee shrimp leaving out the cucumbers and giving me 3 shrimp as my serving!! Since he was using the plastic bowls to scoop and he didn't want to get his gloves dirty he was only using half of the bowl with his fingers in the other half to scoop! It left my bowl incredibly un-proportioned, I paid 14 bucks plus the charge for the "extra" crab salad scoop for an...

I found the Ahipoki on Ray accidentally. Such a pleasant surprise! I ordered the grilled Salmon bowl with cucumbers, sprouts ... THE VERY BEST GRILLED SALMON I HAVE EVER HAD - EVEN IN DINE IN RESTAURANTS! I even went back thru the drive thru and told the manager. So when I found out there were other stores I was very happy. I live on Val Vista so the Ahipoki in Gilbert was "just down the street" Pecos & Val Vista. I drove all the way there because I am in love with the grilled Salmon and my son would be also. I got there and that store did not offer grilled anything. Very disappointed. I thought the menus were the same so I did not check the menu before driving those miles to get there. So I grabbed a sourdough hamburger across from there (a new place). I got acid reflux from that hamburger ... So I will continue to drive to the Ahipoki on Ray to get my "Grilled Salmon fix". I will also try other items off of menu for the menu intrigues mi. Great service, great food ... A little out of the way but well worth it!!!!!
