If I could give zero stars I would. 0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ For this being a faith based establishment, it didn’t feel that way, and there wasn’t a shred of decency given or anything. 👎 I went a while back with my wife and three children. Place was busy with customers standing, watching, & waiting for their orders. No one in line directly placing orders. No foot traffic flow or pattern, just bodies on top of bodies. We make our way in, my wife goes to the counter to order for the 5 of us. And we wait. 10 mins go by we get 2 drinks. Another 15 mins go by and we get 2 more drinks so we ask where the rest of our order is, the young lady said I’ll go check on that(left and never came back with an update), mind you, we also placed an order for pretzel bites (six items in total). The crowd of young adults possibly teenagers that were in the corner taking up all the tables slowly left out, cool, no issue, they were polite and let to themselves. So the crowd was getting smaller. They had drink orders just sitting there waiting to be picked up for these 25 mins that have already gone by. At this point missing one drink and one order of pretzel bites. Another 10 mins go by and we ask for our pretzel bites and our last drink. They didn’t remember what we ordered or have anyway of knowing that they were tracking orders. 3 pretzel bites orders literally go out the drive-thru window. And we still waited for our drink and pretzel bites for another maybe 5 minutes. So in total we waited about 45 mins for sodas and pretzel bites. They had maybe 10 people working back there. So where is/was the issue? Now today, my sister goes and they treat her horribly, give her the cold shoulder for some reason and people that come in and order after her get their drinks and leave. Pretty much the same energy I received when it took 45 mins for my entire order to be fulfilled. Don’t go here and waste your time and money, go to the store and make these drinks yourself. It’ll save you the headache of dealing with ‘fake faith based...
Read moreWe needed a delicious swig (or 20) of caffeine & a sugar pick me up today, so we stopped by Swig n' sweets this afternoon for the first time at their only Arizona location, which is in our Gilbert neighborhood. We had seen it, but hadn't stopped by yet.
They have a drive thru which is convenient & we'll likely use that in the future, but we went it to see what their options were and thankfully Shannon, the manager, was patient with us and participated in helping us choose our concoctions and explaining the options. You can pretty much create any drink that you want.
I got a raspberry dream, which is their biggest seller, so I went with the crowd on that one and had it made with Diet Dr Pepper. In staying with the raspberry theme I got the raspberry White chocolate scone to go with it.
We were happy after that and enjoyed sipping our drinks while we waited in line for Costco gas, which is conveniently located right behind the Swig n' Sweets.
**Just went to Swig n' sweets tonight bc It's 105° at 7:30 at night and we figured going through the drive thru would be perfect bc we didn't have to go out into the heat & we could get a cold popsicle, which was delicious. I got the...
Read moreBeware entering the Drive-Thru at this location! I spent 30 minutes trapped in the drive thru line because the machines were broken. Broken machines are understandable but what is not understandable is waiting 15 minutes for an employee to tell all the cars in the drive thru line what was going on and then tell us it will only be another 5 minutes (this turned out to not be the case), after 15 more minutes we were infuriated. Luckily I had a passenger in the car that was able to get out of the car, walk into the store (where they were still taking orders with broken machines), and ask to speak to an employee. We suggested emptying the drive thru and letting each car decide if they’d like a refund or to park and wait for their order inside. Apparently nobody had given any thought on what to do with all the cars in the drive thru. They took our suggestion and we were able to get a refund and finally exit the drive thru line. I was late picking up my child from pre-school because I didn’t think it would take 30 minutes to get through the SWIG drive thru lane. Please please please train your employees on how to handle...
