In all my years of enjoying PB's I've never had a bad experience so the only reason I'm posting here is because I am impressed with how the owner responds to all the negative reviews for this particular location. (Update 7 days later, you can see corporate asked me to email them. I have emailed them twice with my receipt and order details and have received ZERO replies except for Spam email encouraging me to buy more sandwiches) This was my 1st experience here and I decided to utilize the online ordering and prepaid in order to save time, after all that's why we all order online so we don't have to deal with inept people who make mistakes and for convenience and saving time. However when I arrived to pick up my order, the drive-through orders were taking precedent and after standing in line for 7 minutes, someone finally came over and said Oops I guess we missed the ticket that printed out your prepaid order to be picked up. They offered me a drink and I said no thank you. They quickly made my sandwiches and offered me a free cookie but since I was mildly frustrated I forgot to make sure they gave me the milkshake I paid for. So I left there with out the milkshake I promised my daughter. When I got home we realized 2 of the sandwiches did not have the sauce on them that is standard on the sandwich so it was not like I was asking for anything special. I called and said you guys forgot to give me my milkshake and they said Oops sorry again I'll take your name and number and you can come back for a free shake...
Read morenot sure what to really think of this place. place was busy. had my order taken fairly quickly but no communication via a name to the order or anyone in the establishment asking for what sandwiches went to whom. drive thru seemed ok and the grub hub, call ins etc... seemed to be processed only by individuals finally stepping up and trying to find out where their order was. the gal handling this process must have been a mute because she didn't speak a word for any orders that were complete. just put sandwiches on the counter and there they sat. i stood patiently waiting for some call sign of the sandwiches that i ordered. as i stood and waited for about 15-20 mins i realized there wasn't a peep coming from the individuals making all the different sandwiches or anyone working there. watched as one guy went and came back (had the wrong order.) three individuals stood wondering what was next after placing their order and a fourth person just decided to pay maybe thinking it would speed up or help her order fall into her hands somehow. at this point i realized i would need a tracking device to monitor the path my sandwiches were taking. from my experience this is a manager problem. to have zero communication is not successful imo. will not go back nor would i recommend anyone attempt to dine in here. needless to say i left with no sandwiches in tow so i can not comment on the quality of the food....
Read morePotbelly Sandwich Shop is a franchise chain that specializes in truly great made-to-order handmade sandwiches for takeout, drive through or dine in. My first experience with potbelly was at their Gilbert location near market square area of Santan. During covid, Potbelly was conscientious but strove to open their stores as safely and quickly as possible to allow customers to get quality sandwiches as needed.
My regular order at Potbelly is the signature sandwich called "the Wreck" which is a monstrous and delicious layered meat, veggie and dressing extravaganza. The first thing I love about thier Wreck is that it comes hot. Yes, not a cold lame sandwich- no, this is nicely toasted sandwich loaf with warmed meats and fresh toppings. The Wreck meats are perfect for its lettuce, tomato and peppers drizzled with its awesome italian herbs and oil dressing.
Additional to that, they have a number of other custom sandwiches that you should try as well. Plus they have a regular sides of soup which are homemade broths of chicken noode, veggies, and a chowder. All very good.
They also offer meals with chips and drinks. But the main point here is that if you love amazing sandwiches, you like the option of having them hot not cold cuts, this is your sandwich...
