Edit Today, I received an email from Kevin Hajeski, apologizing for the late response and advising that the location had recently been purchased from prior management. He offered to send my family free meals; we are going to try them again, and I will update my review if it is an improved experience. I appreciate that someone reached out, and can understand that we probably got lost in the changeover shuffle.
I emailed the following complaint to their corporate on May 30th, 2023: I ordered through Uber Eats. Have done so several times in the past year. Recently, we have been getting the two protein bowl promotion for BOGO. Several times we’ve gotten the appropriate portion, but today is the second time that we got very small meat portions. Today it was ridiculous. I wish I had taken pictures before we served everything up. It seems like someone at the restaurant is deciding to give us half(honestly, the steak portions were less than half of what it normally is) the meat because we are paying half price, but that isn’t what the promotion says. It doesn’t say anything about getting smaller portions. I am so disappointed with this order, I don’t see us ordering from here again.
I received a response on June 2nd stating that they were sorry to hear about this, and we’re forwarding it to the shop owner who would be reaching out to me shortly. I emailed them back on July 10th, because no one had reached out. No response from anyone. Today is August 3rd, still no response.
I will no longer spend my money here. I gave them an opportunity to reach out and explain, apologize or just acknowledge the bad experience, and they decided that my business wasn’t important...
Read moreI took my daughter to lunch on Wednesday and was excited about the "NEW ownership." I ordered a regular sized chicken teriyaki bowl and a drink x2. The bill came to over 23 dollars which I thought was a bit steep for what you get but that didn't deter me from wanting to enjoy my meal. On my 3rd bite I went to dig down into the bottom of the bowl to mix the veggies and white rice into the chicken to get a better experience. I found, in horror what appeared to be about a foot long plastic bag of some sort that must have been used for storing one or some of the ingredients prior to cooking. I was completely grossed out! I took it back and was given a 2nd one free of charge. At that point I had lost my appetite and ate about a 3rd of it. One of the perks, it seems wither there "NEW ownership is the manager now comes around to check on how your meal and dining experience was going. I told him the whole situation with my order and he said, "I'll look into that." He came back and said he was sorry and that they were training a new guy today and walked away. Every single time for 20 years of marriage, whenever she gets it, it's completely bland and absolutely not worth the money it took to get it to us. Until one week ago. She wanted teriyaki chicken and orange chicken so I tried a new place, "Teriyaki Madness (Gilbert) and awaited yet another sub par meal that we overpaid for. Wow. I was knocked out. I tried the teriyaki chicken and I couldn't believe it. I know most people aren't going to believe this or maybe even read this. But I was floored! We have now ordered from here twice in one week and both times it was HANDS DOWN the BEST teriyaki chicken I've ever tasted. The chicken is so tender I won't even try to describe it. My wife LITERALLY LOVES the orange chicken. She told me that this was the best orange chicken she's ever tasted. So there you have it. The best teriyaki and the best orange chicken this married couple of 20 years has ever had.
