on 10-13-2018 at 3:44pm I went in and ordered a spicy strip and GRL Wrap meal. the GRL warp was ice cold and I asked for it to be replaced with a warm chiken sandwich. it seems that that was the biggest mistake of my life because it turned into a huge deal. after trying to explain it to the cashier a few times she got it right and I was due a refund of a $0.90 then manager came out and she was very upset with a very bad attitude yelling out "give them their $0.90 back and was starring with fire in her eyes and made a comment " are you kidding me , $0.90 " it was very hummilating and thats when director of operations return the money and when we asked for the manager he stated I am the manger ( benjamin) and we asked who the other lady was he said she is also a manger and we asked her name so we could file a complaint he got very angery and said I'm not given her name and get off of my property and proceeded to follow us out into the parking lot and he stated " I have your credit card info and your Address" thats when I called the police and walked towards wal-mart in an attempt to defuse the situation. after 15 minutes we return to get our car only to find operations director and the female manager waiting outside for us. they continued to harass us and Benjamin started recording me and yelling at me in a threatening manner. we left and called corporate to file a complaint. Kimberly the owner called us back sometime later only to stand by how her staff had treated us, humiliated us and try to make things right by offering us a free meal. I told her that this was not about the money or the meal and more about how her staff had humiliated us threw us out of store and threatened us but all she could do was try to buy us off with a meal I asked her if this is how you treat customer but she was unable to answer and continued to defend her staff. so I thanked her for her time and told her that I was not in need of a meal. this was the most horrifing experiance I've ever had. please do not go to this establishment if you don't like to be humiliated or...
Read moreI genuinely hate leaving a review for a female-owned operation, but I hope the owner sees how poorly her store is being run and takes initiative to fix it. I’ve tried over and over again to give this store a shot and they ALWAYS fall short. I’ve sat in line for food for over 20 minutes only to get to the window to be told to pull around and sit in the parking lot and wait for another 10 minutes because it’s still not ready (literally ordered a salad and two chicken sandwiches), you can’t park anywhere near this place at peak hours, and typically the drive through line is a disaster too. Today I decided to grab a quick breakfast, ordered and pulled up to the window. I don’t bring my wallet as I live right up the street and my drivers license is on my phone. Handed the girl at the window a $50 bill and she told me they don’t take anything over $20?? I told her I didn’t have my wallet and she handed the bill to the girl next to her with her mask under her nose (no one else was wearing a mask so it being under her nose is quite literally useless) the girl with the mask snatched it out of the hands of the girl at the window handed it to me and rudely said they don’t take anything over $20. I pulled off but maybe have something posted for people to see? I’ve been to chickfilas all over the south and this store quite literally has the rudest employees I’ve ever encountered. They’re constantly getting the ordered incorrect and wait times are insane for a fast food place. I’d be fine with a wait of the employees weren’t so blatantly rude. Let it be known too that it doesn’t go unnoticed when no one from the franchise spends the time to respond to poor reviews, or thanks people for the...
Read moreNote for customers that enjoy the convenience of having your order delivered...
You are a customer of Chick-fil-A and the driver that delivers your particular order. The driver is in partnership with the delivery service provider and the restaurants they are in partnership with. Not all businesses appreciate the simplicity of that partnership. Every location doesn't operate the same. Some treat the partnership as a partnership others as a dictatorship.
Personally I would suggest that if you prefer to have your food delivered from a Chick-fil-A get it delivered from another location. If you prefer this location you would probably be better off adding a few extra dollars for the tip. This location expects drivers to wait in the drive thru line to pick up orders. Most driver's don't mind waiting in line if it's short. On the other hand it's Chick-fil-A. Those are usually long lines.
Most driver's aren't willing to wait in line due to the fact their time is worth more than $5-10/HR (including your tip) to deliver an order for a customer. Yes, when you factor in expenses and the time from start to finish including waiting time it can add up to an hour or more for 1 delivery.
If you believe you wouldn't do something in these times for $5-10/hr don't expect drivers that are independently employed and absorbing all the expenses to either.
People perform better when they are appreciated. It's also a convenience for you as a customer when someone else picks up your order. Hopefully delivering your items Hot/Cold as expected.
As INDEPENDENT contractor drivers we have freedom to accept or reject any offer. Make the offer worth waiting for.
Thanks and...
