I arrived at The Commons around 11:45am on a Sunday just as church was letting out. I was worried it would be packed, but was easily able to order ant the counter and received my Cobb Salad & Small Mango Smoothie with hardly any wait at all. My smoothie was prepared in 3-4 minutes and my salad was brought to me in about 6-7 minutes. Super fast. They were out of chicken so I was offered Boar Head Turkey, Ham, or extra bacon as a replacement. I went with the turkey. My total was $16.00. Salad was served in a nice bowl and smoothie was a 16oz size in a clear plastic cup w/lid and slightly thicker than normal straw. Nice touch. Smoothie was probably the best I have ever had. Perfect flavor and texture. Salad Ingredients were all of high quality and presentation was nice. Portion was large. Only complaint is that it came with an insufficient amount of dressing and there was hardly any bacon on it. I requested addition dressing from the nice lady at the counter and she promptly provided me with two extra dressings at no charge. Seating is very well arranged and the atmosphere is pleasant. Very conducive for studying, reading, relaxing. Location in on the campus of Redemption Church. Stand alone building. I...

Reading my book inside, along with a nice Lotus energy based drink in front of the large windows, was heavenly. Then I was ready for lunch and to head outdoors. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, even checking on me throughout my stay.
With a sandwich menu made with Boar's Head meats and Noble bread you can't choose wrong. They also have burgers and a quesadilla. I took my savory Italian ciabatta panini outside to enjoy the perfect AZ fall weather and views of the large grass lawn. The tasty sandwich and peaceful atmosphere was just what I needed for a...
Read moreThe commons is amazing!! For the past 3 years this has been a regular place I go. The food (especially the cubano sandwich) is incredible. They give great portions so you won’t be leaving hungry. And their coffee….WOW!!!!! I personally prefer their dirty chai but it’s all good!! And last but probably the most important thing is the staff!! They are so kind and caring. They learn people’s names and work so hard!! If you are on the fence, just get off of it right now and go to the commons. It’s WAY better than that fence you are sitting on...
