I kid you not I was the 2nd person in line at the drive-thru and I waited for two complete songs and the full length of radio ads all the way through until the next song started playing (~10min) before the guy in front of me got all his drinks/food. I kept seeing them hand bags back and forth to each other and I could tell the driver felt bad because he kept looking in the rear view mirror as over time the drive thru line kept getting longer. At all the other Dunkin Donuts I've been to across the valley, if a car is waiting at the window for something longer than a minute or two they usually ask the car to pull forward and have an employee run their food out to them. That would have mitigated this situation and not aggravated this poor review. After 10 minutes of waiting for them to service the car in front of me I finally pull up and kind of expected a "sorry for the wait, etc...", Heard nothing, paid $7, got my food and drink, and pulled out. I had ordered a Large Hazelnut Latte and 10 assorted munchkins. They gave me my iced drink in a large hot coffee cup with a hot drink lid (no straw) because they were out of cold coffee cups. As I'm driving home I reach in the bag for the munchkins and they taste stale (worse than I've had at any other location), like their a day or two old. Gross! So I go to take a sip of my Large Hazelnut Latte which is supposed to be made with milk (hence the latte part...) and I taste black coffee with a very small hint of who knows what kind of flavoring. I look inside and sure enough the coffee is black. So I'm stuck with stale donuts and black coffee which I just paid $7 for and had to wait 10 minutes for it! The thing is, with the way the order taker took my order, how long it took them to service one car and the carelessness of the line forming in their drive thru, how I was greeted at the window, how their manager allows day or two old donuts and can't keep up with keeping the store stocked with simple drink cups, I doubt anything will come out of this and I'll just be the guy who paid $7 for day or two old stale donuts, a messed up coffee order, and a 10 minute wait being the 2nd car in line. This whole situation was so aggravating considering there are Dunkin donuts out there that handle things in the complete opposite manner and that I've had very pleasant experiences with (I've even left them very positive 5 star reviews). This is just a very bad location and I would recommend driving the extra few miles to another Dunkin donuts nearby if you...
Read moreMy usual experience with DD has always been excellent but somehow this location throws everything I love about it back in my face. This location was convenient at the time and I had an offer for a free latte which I thought to use. While I was immediately greeted, my cashier seemed to want to be anywhere but taking my order. It’s service industry, it happens. The rest of my experience quickly dived into absurdity. The nearby tables were filthy and I watched as staff simply threw orders onto the handoff with obvious indifference, not even bothering to call out orders half the time. I had ordered an iced latte, glazed donut, sausage croissant sandwich, and hash browns; the first half of which I received within a minute. However, I waited nearly 10 minutes before being asked if I was still waiting on anything else. When I mentioned I was waiting on my sandwich and hash browns (with clearly no one working the assembly station behind her) she tells me “OK” and starts assisting another woman whose coffee had an issue. I proceeded to wait another 5-10 minutes before approaching the hand off again to get the attention of someone else to notify I was, again, still waiting on my food. She offered no apologies, but simply turned around and proceeded to pull up past orders on the monitor as if she had to confirm I didn’t wait around nearly 20 minutes just to try and get free food. Not to mention the cashier could have easily confirmed in 2 seconds that I did indeed order food which I clearly was not holding. She went ahead and put my order together, put it in a bag and mumbled something, possibly an apology, then handed it to me. Not wanting to spend another moment there I just gave a quick thanks and left. I have worked in the service industry myself for many years and even I think there was no excuse for this experience. I will definitely pick any other location but this one for...
Read moreGo somewhere else!!! This is one of the worst DD I’ve ever been too. I’ve been going to this one for over a year and the only reason is because it’s the only DD on my way to work, but I’ll start going out of my way to try other ones. The employees here are not friendly, they look like they’d rather be anywhere else but in front of you. Even the manager looks tired and hates being there. Service is terrible, one person runs the front and fills the mobile drink orders so expect a wait if you didn’t order your drink early enough.
The food prep is so unorganized. They’ll put the food in a bag toss it on the counter, mumble shout what it is and go back to making something else. I can’t tell you how many times people waiting will look at each other with a confused expression because they don’t know what the food is and they’ll have to look through it to figure it out. The bag isn’t marked and if you ordered through the mobile app, it’s not placed with your drink. So if the food is made before you get there, it’ll be sitting on the counter all alone without any indication what’s in it or it’s for you. I’ve had that happen to me twice.
And the parking lot!! Don’t get me started. It is so CRAMPED, the drive-thru line will either be so long it goes out into Higley or it will wrap around into the parking lot so people who are trying to leave from parked cars can’t get out. Or worse it’s both so there’s two lines converging into the drive-thru.
Today is the final straw. I order a LARGE signature latte, $4.59 and it wasn’t even close to being filled! I didn’t pay the price for a large for the amount that would go...
