We've been going to our neighborhood Rubios for years but it's been in steady decline for the past 1+ year. I've worked in retail food service; I get it can be tough to keep up when things don't go right some shifts. But when you know you have a regular rush time each have day/week, you staff appropriately. Consistently on Tuesdays the service is slow, perfunctory at best, or flat out incorrect. This evening (Tuesday) I knew it would be busy so I called ahead. I was instantly put on hold for 3+ minutes. I figured it was busy at register and I was forgotten so I hung up and called back only to be hung up on. I called back again and had my order taken. Upon arrival the wait was longer than quoted, with a half full dining area. Again, it's busy with call-in, I figure. My benefit of the doubt promptly evaporated when I came home to find 1/5 of my order missing. I called the store, admittedly frustrated, to begin to explain and see what could be done. The employee's monotone, insincere apology was the last straw -until tasting the already cold tacos. We live 3min drive from the...

I ordered online and apparently, I " placed the order wrong online". So the guy at the front tells me they did everything correctly and tries to move on to the next customer without asking if he could fix my order. I told him I wanted it fixed with no tortilla strips and chili peppers, I even told them they could use the same fish. He chuckled and said UH OKAY. He proceeds to speak to the other guy in Spanish about me, not realizing I speak Spanish. They're sitting there laughing at me, it was extremely uncomfortable and upsetting. I just took my food and left. And as I get in my car I realize they forgot the corn... So I go back in and tell him, He checks my salad and then he gives me some corn that I'm guessing was sitting there all day because it was hard and dry. I got to work and realized they didn't put in avacado either... Save yourself a trip and avoid...
Read moreMy family used to eat here every weekend but we changed to different places because of higher price compared to other restaurant for the same kind of food. After months we decided to came back here for a quick and convenient Saturday night food. The portion is a little bit smaller than before. On my plate, there were only some big pieces of chips covered with a lot of small broken pieces. I then ordered 1 burrito and 2 fish tacos to-go. The cashier brought to me "in a bag" the order with a small chip paper bag (supposedly the order should include beans). I was upset because the cashier thought it was one order. The total I paid was almost $20?! It was ridiculous because I would not think a $20 dinner meal only included 1small burrito and 2 tacos. Just to name a few, #Fiesta in Phoenix, #TaquitoJalisco in Mesa, #Cafe Rio, or #Carolina in Mesa are way better. Overall, we spent more than $50 for dinner, regretful! I recommend above places for good food and affordable price...
