If you order form a parking space, the service will be great. If you go through the drive thru, you won't be able to hear on the intercom, you will sit in line for at east 20 minutes, and you will usually be treated like you're bothering whoever is working the window. Usually, I just tolerate it. However, this week I went strictly for a bag of ice. I didn't mind waiting in line, but they assembled the bag of ice almost 20 minutes before the line allowed me to get from the speaker to the windows. The young girl at the window tried to hand me a bag that was almost 1/3 water. I asked for another one that wasn't melted. She rolled her eyes, glared at me, slammed the window, poured the water from the bag into the ice chest, talked about me to the guy working with her while gesturing at me, and then scooped that same melted ice back into the bag. I tried to smooth it over by apologizing for asking for a new bag but I was met with more attitude. Today my husband had the same issue with ice. He also could not hear anything from the speaker and kept asking the person to repeat themselves. He eventually gave up. He ordered food as well and most of the order was wrong. He was in line for almost 35 minutes but only 4 cars were ahead of him. He said he will...
Read moreWife went to this Sonic and came home with the food. Ordered a 5 piece tender meal that was overcooked but my son ate 3 (not expecting a refund on that) an Orange Ice cream drink (we drank) some tots (we ate) and a pretzel that was hard as a rock.
My wife went to return the pretzel when she was belittled by the “man on deck” Chris. He took the bag of food and threw it away without giving a replacement pretzel.
Upon hearing this I went back to the Sonic to get my pretzel…yes I wanted it not so much to eat but to confront Chris about his customer service and ask for his superior.
Once I was there he became very hostile with me which of course was unwarranted as all I asked for was the pretzel. I asked for the General Manager contact information so that I could escalate, but then he said I could sit outside and call corporate.
Called the number to the store when Aaron picked up and was able to get my pretzel. Didn’t eat the pretzel threw it in the trash as Chris had made it…
Net net if Chris is the person in charge there on a regular basis they need to reevaluate their staff and promote Aaron.
If I could give a 0 I would.
No I’m not a Karen...
Read moreI came in through the drive thru and was greeted over the microphone by a man calling himself Chris. He was very short with me when I placed my order, speaking in a dismissive and annoyed tone and saying “I’m waiting for your order” to me after I asked if he was still there when he did not give me any sort of verbal acknowledgement that he had heard me or input my order. He made me feel like I was a great inconvenience to him which gave me a great deal of shame as I drove up to the window. The man at the window was presumably a different person and he was very nice to me, but I couldn’t help but feel very sheepish and upset over the interaction I just had. I have been served my meal by this Chris person one other time and he was just as curt with me that time as well, but I didn’t think much of it and didn’t bother reporting it because I figured he must just be having an off day as we all do sometimes. However, this has happened with the same man twice now which does not make me feel confident about returning in case I encounter this rude individual for...
