Calling all PNW peeps, this one is for you. Yes you now have a PNW bar with your own twist of goodness. Now this is a beer and wine bar as of today with the hopes they add a full bar but don’t let that stop you from coming in.
The exceptional list of craft beers, cider, meads and wines you will have a good time. The food was even on par for the Seattle flair. Now I am a Chicago man so I don’t agree with the cream cheese on a hot dog 🌭 at all so that seemed so wrong on so many levels but as my wife a native SEA town woman, says it was a 4/5 almost Percy dog. She stated the bread or bun was done wrong way to hard and should have been better prepared especially since it took almost 45 minutes. ( why you didn’t get the 5th star)
However despite all of that the flatbreads where spot on and the fries were perfect.
Now first time in and we managed to be part of movie night, some throw backs to the early 80’s Goonies was tonight’s flick of choice and looks like every Saturday for at least the next three months a new film will be shown. Not to mention that they will be hosting 80’s trivia on Monday’s as well. May come in to check that out.
The chilled out areas to grab a game and chill while watching the latest games on the TV’s really rounds the whole place out. Now I wonder if this being a PNW bar if they are going to go all out for Seahawks games??? The wife may have found her spot.
If you are a beer drinker get on over and check this place...
Read moreStopped in to check out this newer place, I was on my way to an appointment. I had about an hour to hangout. Lots of choices of beer and ciders on tap! It's impressive, so is the bottled beer selection.
The place was pretty empty, it was early afternoon midweek. I got my beer, ordered fries and sat in the beer patio area. They have a great space with 360°misting system. I was checking out the Misting System and enjoying my beer and I was hoping for my fries to show up. The fries showed up at the end of my beer and I ordered another beer to enjoy with my fries. The 2nd beer showed up after I had finished my fries and as I was about to leave. The fries were really good and would have been even better with a beer to go with them.
I spent 50 mins at Wicked Rain, 38 mins waiting for my orders. The place was nearly empty, no excuse for non-existent service. unacceptable.
I'll be back later during football season, hopefully the service is much better and my time there is more enjoyable. I'm pulling for ya Wicked Rain, with such a nice spot, you...
Read moreStopped in for take-out while my wife had an appointment across the street. Had to check it out for the first time. I was definitely impressed! Great setup with sit-down tables, sitting area, and large indoor/outdoor bar. It is very clean throughout the entire place, including bathrooms. There are plenty of tvs to watch games. They said they use a big screen projector for big games, like Seattle Seahawks, which draws a large crowd. So, if you're a Seahawks fan, this place is for you on game day! I had the #1 draft, and it's an excellent PNW IPA. There are tons of craft beers on tap and can. They also have wine and ciders. Brought the wings home to eat, got the spicy dry rub. They were magnificent... large with lots of flavor... might be some of my favorite wings now! I'll definitely be back. I'm glad I stopped in. Highly recommend Wicked Rain for quality of food, atmosphere, and...
