First and only time I will ever go there. Went for a nice dinner with my boyfriend at 7:30, all the tables were open and the restaurant had at least three people behind the front desk. We ordered our food and while we were ordering one of the front of house staff started walking around closing the tables. We walked around to one and sat down expecting to be able to have dinner since the girl at the front had said they close at 9:00 when we came in. They automatically put our food in a bag which we did not ask to have it to-go, I went to pick up the food at the front desk and proceeded to go back to the table to eat my dinner. She then proceeded to start yelling at me telling me That I was not allowed to eat in the restaurant, that they had taped off the tables for the night, and that she was going to call the cops and that I was not welcome to eat there. I said wait I thought you said you close at 9:00? She said yes but we like to start closing early so we can go home early. I reminded her that she had said they close at 9:00 and that I can come in to an open restaurant with open dining with the intention of having a nice dinner. she continued to yell at me and tell me she was going to call the cops. I said I would actually like to speak to the owner to which she replied okay cool let's call him while she held up the phone, I said okay, thank you. She then hung up the phone and said you better leave right now or I'm going to call the cops I said I would just like to call the owner as you said. She then pointed to some guy behind the counter and said oh you can talk to him he's the owner. I guess he must have just walked in because a moment ago she was saying she was going to call the owner. Obviously he was not the owner and she had no right to close the dining room early. I have been a restaurant manager both front of house and back of house for many years that behavior is not acceptable in any circumstance I could not imagine any of my employees closing a dining room early because of their own laziness or treating somebody so poorly even if they had been provoked. I will never go back. I do hope that the owner sees this and takes the time to look into this instance and sees how his restaurant is being run when he/she is not present and how their customers are...
Read moreFood is always great at Yogis but it’s also because I order extra sauce. All orders should come with soy sauce which most of the time I never receive. Pull it together… soy sauce is cheap! Also I always order both extra teriyaki and spicy teriyaki sauce. This location keeps skimping me with smaller chicken portions and sauce. They also only give a little tiny container of the spicy sauce as they don’t purchase the sealed spicy sauce. Quit being cheap on all the sauces especially when I pay extra for it!
UPDATE: This is the last time I will ever go to or order from this location. ALL other locations I love and never have a problem ordering from. They give extremely small portions of chicken (vs other locations) and never give me the correct sauces that I have always paid extra for. I literally pay .75 for each additional sauce which brings the total to $3-$5 and never get what I paid for. This time I received 0 extra sauces. Thanks guys! You just lost a customer that orders 3-4 times a month! I called their store and the girl said “oh I’m sorry, if you want to come in then l will give you the sauces plus some extra” lol there is a reason I order online because I don’t...
Read moreThe bowls were very good, however the "salad" was not as described. Their side salad consists of a fist fill of spring mix (which is bitter) and according to staff is the base for most of their salads. The description for their salads says they are served with romaine & iceberg lettuce, carrots, red cabbage, tomato, crunchy noodles and sesame ginger dressing. However, their side salad has no description and they do not tell you prior to ordering that is just a spring mix with their sesame dressing. Gross. The iceberg and romaine lettuce make the sesame dressing work. Bitter spring mix does not. I ordered this to go and didn't notice this until I got home. I called the next day and all the staff did was argue that this was what they served, even though I was looking for them to clarify this with patrons in the future. Misleading. If you want a good rice bowl though, this is the place. Meat and teriyaki sauce was good. Service, other than management's inability to satisfy a customer and make clarifications regarding their salads in the future, was also good. I'll be back as they are generally a good place for take out, I just won't be paying $2.99 for a bunch of...
