Donut Delight: They Disappeared Faster Than You Can Say Glaze!
Forget the sad, stale donuts of yesterday. These were flavor bombs disguised as pastries, and let me tell you, they detonated in the best way possible at our recent event. Every single person, from sugar fiends to self-proclaimed "healthy eaters," was singing their praises.
The variety was impressive, with classic glazed, decadent chocolate-frosted, and even adventurous options apple fritters, cinnamon big rolls, to chocolate and more chocolate topped delights. Each bite was a savory delight: fluffy dough, perfectly sweet glazes, and fresh, delicious fillings. They were just pure, melt-in-your-mouth goodness.
The best part? The smiles on everyone's faces at our ladies' event. The donuts were devoured with gusto, and by the end, not a single crumb remained. It was a true testament to the shop's skill and quality.

However, my complaint is primarily with these so-called "bear claws." Here's the thing, I don't care what some lazy industries such as Bosa's have done to possibly change the definition of a bear claw, but a regular glazed donut filled with apple is not a bear claw. A bear claw is filled with almond paste. Not apple. Just because you give a donut some stubby fingers does not transform it into a bear claw. It's just an apple filled donut. And we already have apple Fritters, so really, these abominations are just treading on fritter territory unnecessarily.
By all means, sell an apple-filled donut. Cut it into whatever shape your heart desires, but if you call something a bear claw, fill it with almond paste.
And on a broader note, society really needs to step up to stop these injustices of donut makers just calling anything with stubs...
Read moreI've been a Bosa customer since the location in Chandler 14 years ago. Always loved it. Was so excited when one opened by my kids' school. We stop at least once a week for donuts and I get a ham and cheese croissant.
Today my croissant was REALLY doughy. Made me nauseous to chew it. So I told the girl at the counter and her reply was "They were cooked, I checked". Okay... she said she could get me another one. I know they're cooked in batches so they'd be the same. Instead I asked for a couple donuts. She said no but she could get me another croissant. I asked if it was still doughy can I just get a refund. "We don't do refunds on food". O....k... she got me another. It was still gross.
So disappointed. Bad batches happen, I get it, but the customer service was awful. No apology, no acceptance of responsibility just straight denial that anything was wrong and zero willingness to make it better. I used to work at a bakery. I know what raw...
