The only thing that was worth paying for, in the ten or more times I was here, was the Turkey Club sandwich. Many people that I know absolutely love the food, but I often found it mediocre and sometimes really unappetizing and just not good. 😬 Chicken and fish get fried together, so your chicken will taste fishy, and sometimes you get actual bits of fish, which is probably fun if you like fish, but it's an unpleasant surprise if you're not a fan. Taco salad was okay, omelets were okay. (It's not the cooks- they do great with what they have- it's literally the actual food product that's not good.) The two waitresses that work during lunch shift aren't the greatest with regard to accuracy or friendliness. I really hate to say that, but the one waitress was extremely rude to my developmentally disabled clients on multiple occasions: she took a plate out from under a client while she held her sandwich in her hands, still eating: came past our table and took a ranch dip from a client and delivered it to another table: we had plates of food taken other times, when people were still right there eating- just weird stuff you don't expect and then feel awkward about, because.. it's totally awkward to be eating and have your food taken away. They rarely smile or say "you're welcome" when you thank them, would forget drinks and sides, would rush us out, and only ever seemed mildly friendly once they could tell we were leaving (and we never stayed long!). In their defense, it's a busy place, but I definitely felt uncomfortable getting no response besides them walking away, after saying something like, "oh, thank you for bringing that over! Awesome! We appreciate it!" Needless to say, but I only ever ate here because my clients chose to, and I wouldn't go back unless I was with someone who really wanted to go- the prices are good enough that it's not the end of the world when you end up disliking a...
Read moreMy family had a poor experience here on Sunday. It is going down the toilet. Walking in a man said seat yourself even though sign said wait to be seated. The four of us sat 10 mins with at least 3 wait staff walking by us repeatedly before being acknowledged, including the man who told us to sit anywhere.
When server finally came she did not apologize for the wait.
You can’t tell customers to seat them selves if your wait staff don’t promptly pick up newly seated tables.
There is no foyer or heat curtain and bitter cold air kept flowing over us every time someone held open the double doors.
Home fries tasted like they had salt spilled or poured in them. Like inedible. Mouth puckering, ruined. And all hardened burnt balls of the seasoning or something throughout were pungent and bitter. The veggie omelet had very little vegetables and could not find mushrooms.
We also had pancakes and a waffle. The server did not bring or offer syrup and we wanted real maple syrup. We waited, could not flag down anyone. Finally had to get up and go pluck a bottle of fake syrup from the counter.
Asked for a water. It was forgotten. Again had to walk up to counter to re-ask for the water. Ketchup bottle was also empty. Was tired of chasing things down at this point.
All three families represented will not...
Read moreMust say the reviews of this place are what brought us here. I have visited twice but it will probably be my last. New to the area and must say they are not a $10-$20 restaurant if you add drinks. And I don't mean alcohol. Desperate in need of more help. Ordered soft drinks and when we were half way through the server asked if we wanted refills. One of my sons said yes. So the server brought over new drinks and removed all our remaining half drinks. Didn't think much because he said refill. Till we received the bill each drink is a charge. Ok but should have left our first drink so not a refill but a new drink. Also when asked about the selection told there were a variety, without explanation that some flavors had up charges.Rasbery ice tea with up charge for the raspberry. Drinks were over $30 for a 3 people no alcohol. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. French fries were the end of the bag short and stuby with a few longer throws in. The fried pickles were a surprise but I can say the were great. Not enough to save this place. Please do yourself a favor, go...
