First, parking is inadequate. Parking here must be challenging at times.

There is no menu here. There is a menu board. None of the meals are priced. A chicken torta cost $10. Add $4 more Lengua. Would have been nice to know this before ordering.

Apparently, none of the staff speak English. I found communicating with the waitress difficult. Example? I asked if they had Budwieser. Waitress said yes they have water. I explained that Budwieser is a beer. The Waitress said they have Posole. I asked if anyone here speaks English. She gave me a blank expression.

I ordered a torta with everything plus extra jalapeños. What arrived was a plain, ordinary, run of the mill, garden variety, nothing special about it, torta without jalapeños. The torta was dry and devoid of flavor. Hands down, the worst tasting tortas ever are served here.

Honestly, I cannot think of a reason to return.

Best kept secret in California...and I don't say that lightly! WOW, the food is good! If you like shrimp and bacon...try the Camerones Momia. Of course that dish is rather rich...so consider getting a Tostadas de Cameron's Pescado o Pulpo to go with it...AMAZINGLY fresh and bursting with flavor!
