Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Gladstone

I spent $50 here after driving 12 miles to get chicken. I ordered a 16 piece. Took my bag and went home. Sadly, there was only 6 pieces. I had to drive back to get the order corrected. After being accused of lying a manager was called out to help. She agreed I was shorted and told this girl to take care of it. This time before I left, I checked the order myself, it was missing my okra order. There girl said again I was mistaken and that I had not ordered okra. I furiously pulled out the receipt just to get an "oh" out of her. I drove home and we sat down to eat. Surprise, the chicken is over cooked. The coleslaw was sour, days old, I'm sure. The okra was dry and way overcooked. It's not supposed to be okra chips. The mashed potatoes and gravy were thin. There was a tablespoon of gravy on the potatoes. Try dividing that between 4 people. I never complain but when my little one won't eat chicken there is something wrong. I do not want anything from this store. I won't ever go back. I just want you to know your quality assurance is way lacking. Try tasting some of your food when you make it. It's got to taste good to bring people back, time and time again. Lastly the last thing we want is to be called a liar. As an ex-manager that was uncalled for in any circumstance. Customer service skills need to be on a continual education daily. Watch your people, listen to their interaction with your patrons. We are the ones that make it possible for you to make money, without us you are just another...

When up there an ordered two meals 13 piece combo 12 piece combo did not get half of what I ordered. Got home found out that most of it was gone or not there . I got home and realized I only had 14 pieces, and since I lived close, I came back to get my other 2 pieces of chicken. I was 18 and poor.
