We have visited this restaurant 2-3 times a year for the last several years. I noticed the last couple of visits the food had been declining in taste and the servers were not as friendly as they used to be. Today was not only the worst service/food at that restaurant but the worst at any restaurant!
We went there today with a Groupon and had the worst, absolute worst experience ever. I ordered Enchiladas Rancheras. The first couple of bites were really tasty but the third bite had a hair in it. I pulled out an 7-10 inch dark, almost black colored hair. I showed it to the Server and he said it must be mine because no one there has hair. I was pretty irritated, since my hair is red and 4-5 inch long strands.
The food was basically cooked pulled pork, grilled. I said someone had to prepare the pork earlier and he said no one there has hair. I am pretty sure who ever made the pulled pork had hair and did not where a hair net.
I figured it must have been a fluke and ate a little more. I was putting leftovers in a to go container and I'll be darned if there wasn't another hair! Wrapped around the pork. I showed it to the Server and he said it must be mine cause no one there has hair! At that point, I demanded the food taken off our ticket. He refused and said he could save the plate and I could talk to the owner when he came in.
I never been at a restaurant where the Server accused me of doing something to the food, I have never been in a restaurant where there was two strands of hair in the dinner. I have never been to a restaurant where the issue could not be resolved while I was there.
It was the most disgusting dinner and rudest visit to a restaurant I have ever had. I would not recommend this...
Read moreI had about an hour to kill, and had heard this place has good margaritas from my best friend since we were 4 yrs old, comes to find out he was talking about the place up the street. But the margaritas 🍹 I had at Senor tequilas were exceptional, I don't remember the name of the 4 that I had but they were blue, now the menu just showed strawberry and Pina collada, forgive my spelling and a picture of the blue one ,when I asked witch of the two were better , Louis my sever pointed to the blue one,so blue it was 4 times , very good ,I figured I had time to try something to eat, wasn't real hungry so I decided to have some guacamole and they had two choices regular, and guacamole Mexicano, that I ordered the difference is this is avocado, with Pico degio, and fried jalapeños, with hot salsa poured over the top,not recommended if you don't do spicy, remember I'm of the Mexican race and proud of it,getting back to the chips and dip,I prefer my avocados mashed or blended, but these were in chuncks a little bigger than the size of dice, I'm sure if ordered mashed avocado it would not be a problem, the friend that I was waiting on showed up and we had a couple more drinks and went off to do our thing, overall a very pleasant couple of hours, if you go to senor tequilas, there are two Louise's father and son and definitely try the blue stuff , sorry about the name but after a couple you'll be saying more Bluestone, this place gets stars,oh by the way the svc.was excellent 😀, prices a little steep, but isn't everything these day, we had 6 medium margaritas and my guacamole, 40 bucks, I think Louis cut me a break ,possibly, I tend to let my presents be known,Good Luck and be safe out there, until I speak...
Read moreThe first time that me and my family ate at Senor Tequila was when I was about 4 years of age. When I was 4-5 years old, I just ate a taco platter served with rice and beans on the side. However, we quit going for a really long time until my mom’s job moved over to the shopping strip next to Senor Tequila’s restaurant. When we started going again, one of the employees named Victor was happy that our family started eating from and at Senor Tequila again. I do not even remember Victor working at Senor Tequila when I was really little.
When we dined in at Senor Tequila again, a lot inside the restaurant has changed. For example, there was Mexican decorations hanging from ceilings. My family and I thought the food from Senor Tequila was still delicious as always. When we started ordering from there again, I ordered the Burrito Loco which is stuffed with the customer’s choice of steak or chicken, rice, beans, cilantro, Chipotle sauce, and hot sauce inside of the burrito and topped with queso (cheese sauce). The latest dish I had from Senor Tequila the last time I was there the Burrito Bandera. I also like getting bags of tortilla chips in takeout orders with 2 different salsa flavors because if you get 2 chip bags, it is like you bought homemade tortilla chips from a grocery store.
I have to say that Senor Tequila has the best service with takeout and while customers are dining in too. If a customer was looking for a Mexican restaurant that also Mexican decorations, Senor Tequila would be the restaurant to...
