Really disappointed with the service received tonight. Myself and a friend drove here together and arrived a little before closing. Prior to arriving, I had looked online to see if we could place an online order and the only options were showing for the next day. I then called and asked if I could place a togo order and they advised they were no longer taking togo orders. So we proceeded to drive there and when we arrived there was only one group in front of us. We were glad to make it there a little before closing time. While waiting in line there was another customer that was looking on the menu. She had arrived afterwards but we had insisted for her to go before us since she had a smaller order. In the meantime a few minutes before closing another woman walked in and the cashier asked if she had an online order. She responded that she didnât and the cashier advised her that they were closing so they couldnât take her order. That customer then left. Me and my friend, along with another customer were the last in line, and we all arrived before closing time but had been waiting in line. The cashier and other employees never once advised us that we would be unable to order. So we continued to wait and allowed the one customer to go in front of us since she just had a small order. Once she ordered, it was my turn to order. Upon checking out it was showing right at 8pm. My friend who I was with was getting ready to put her order in and the cashier just told her sorry weâre closed. I told the cashier that we came together. How could she take my order and not my friends when we came together? The lady behind my friend asked if she could just pay for a pre made drink from the cooler section and the cashier said no to that as well. This is unbelievably rude. Had I known that they were going to just take my order and not my friendâs order, when we both came there together I would have just not ordered and we could have went somewhere else with our business. I understand not serving customers that come in after closing time, or a few mins before closingâŠbut to just serve one customer and not the other customers that came in together or at the same time is very...
Read moreLove, love, love this boba tea shop! I live in Nebraska, but whenever I am in Kansas City, Go Cha is a MUST stop for me.
You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu but here are some of my favorites...The strawberry matcha latte, the avocado cream smoothie, and the virgin sangria.
I absolutely love the strawberry matcha latte. I get it at 50% sweetness since the strawberry puree they put into it is already sweet. (A big plus about this place is that you can get your drink less/more sweet depending on your taste preference!) This is a milk tea, and unlike most milk tea which are a bit heavy, this drink is super light and refreshing. The avocado cream smoothie is the BEST avocado smoothie I have ever had. Trust me, get this. I have had my fair share of this type of smoothie from many different places and nothing comes close to this one. They top theirs with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, with a sprinkle of toasted coconut and almonds. Definitely an indulgence. Lastly, if you're not looking for something milky or creamy, then get the virgin sangria. It is a super refreshing fruit tea that they top with fresh fruit!
I'm hoping to make more trips to KC so I can try more drinks from their menu! Highly recommend this place.
Pro tip: Make sure you have cash in case your order is less than $5. They don't accept card...
Read moreI have always drink gocha about once a week. And the last time I was there they messed up my order. Upon calling and speaking with the owner she told me to come in and they will remake my drink. Great! So I thoughtâŠ. I have been sick on and off with the rest of my family members and unable to come in until about 3 weeks later. I called them today asking if I can come in for my replacement. The employee did not want to remake my drinks without asking the owner. Which Iâm annoyed, but w/e, I understand and waited for the owner to call me back. When the owner called me back she explained that the employee did not remake my drink in fear that Iâm trying to scam them into getting free drinks. $12, but ok, Better safe than sorry. She then told me she will remake my drink for me, but they will be charging me $2 for them to remake my drink due to supplies. So long story short, they messed up my drinks, and wants charge me an additional $2 to remake a drink that they messed up on. I then asked for a gift card because I have no time, energy or money to waste on a place that does not want a long time customer like me. I will also give that gift card to someone else. Also fyi they took $2 off the gift card they returned to me LOL. I would no recommend...
