Love Wendy's french fries and the natural squeezed lemonade. But this was the 3rd time in a row that my order was incorrect. The drive-through line was too long to go through again and my kids were napping so I couldn't go inside to get it corrected. I ordered 2 kids chicken nugget meals with kids choc. milks and a chicken sandwich meal with a fresh squeezed lemonade. No sauces, just ketchup for the fries. I get the order and get home to realize it was the fountain pink lemonade not the fresh squeezed. No french fries, just chicken sandwich with ketchup packets in the bag, no napkins, no straws, and only 1 toy for 2 kids. I typically don't write negative reviews, but upon looking at the receipt, the Cashier charged me for 1 a la carte chicken sandwich for $5.99, and $3.19 for the fresh squeezed lemonade. I specifically asked for a meal bc I said large was fine for both my fries and drink and just ketchup for the fries, no spec sauces for the nuggets. I was handed 3 indiv bags, 2 kids meals with 1 toy, no straws, no napkins. Somehow the drink was also lacking cO2 and was awful not drinkable. No napkins provided or offered for 2 kids meals. This was also the 3rd trip in a row, that had something either missing or incorrect on the drive-through order. Why would you make the effort of charging me for a sandwich a la carte, take the time to ask about upcharging me for my large sized Fresh squeezed lemonade, and I responded with large was fine for fries and drink. Then not put fries on order and then give me ketchup for the non-existent french fries.
Update: I was a little harsh or possibly "hangry" on my last post, so I gave it another shot. Went through drive-through and ordered a bakedpotato and a cup of Chili and the kids meals as usual. Kids meals were fine and both toys were received. I got home and took potato out, looked ok. I opened chili and there was maybe 1/4 of the cup was full and that is being generous. I looked to make sure i didn't spill any and confirmed no spillage, just filled up 25%. I fed my kids and got back in the car and went back to Wendys more or less, just make them aware that it was disappointing to get home to find this and no biggie, accidents happen, I get it, but could I have a full cup of chili. The young woman who remembered me from being there a few mins before, said I thought you wanted it as a side for the potato, so she only gave me that portion. I asked if I was charged a side portion amount? To which I was told yes. I accepted that and offered to pay for the full portion. The initial woman who took my order just turned and walked away without a response. A second young lady took over and proceeded to fill the cup up and said it was OK, not to worry about it. I was very polite and did not give any attitude in the slightest. I thanked her and returned to my car to proceed home. I came across the receipt in my center console and was charged the full portion size not the potato side portion, as I was told inside. Not 1 time was I rude or nasty, I just a wanted the cup of chili with some saltines bc that was to be my entire meal, not the potato with a side of chili as she had assumed. I didn't give any smartelli remarks or give any critism. But I definitely caught attitude back. I'm human, I make mistakes, every one does, but some decorum on response to simply requesting what I ordered and did indeed pay for, should be something that employees are requiredto do with a little grace. I have worked food service, it can be tough and has its own challenges, but if you give the lady who just wants a full cup of chili, attitude, how do you think your going to do with more aggressive tasks that a client, customer or even your boss gives you later on down the...
Read moreThis report is on my visit today to Wendy's I had two friends with me and we purchased three of the $5 biggie bags the burgers were grilled special because of my food allergies and by one of my friends had an allergy so hers was grilled special and with a long line of cars with our complicated order Wendy's still kept up my burgers were made great they were ordered just they were made just the way they were ordered we didn't spend much time in the line as I expected they do need to have a separate line off of the main road for the drive-through because with covid and no one's able to go inside to order or eat that I'm aware of the long line for drive-thru was way out way out onto the roadway and was blocking cars that's the only exception about this that I did not like is having to park halfway on the road and halfway in the Drive-Thru parking lot for Burger King this is a potential accident waiting to happen it wouldn't surprise me if it hasn't already happened there and if not it's going to that is a congested accident waiting to happen there there was approximately 8 or 9 cars ahead of me and the drive-through line actually went through quite quickly with just having one order taking unit or you give your order at the little booth and it comes back with your order and your total and the order taker asked if the order was correct if we needed anything else I spent $21 there today it was very happy with my food it was prepared is ordered and it's timely manner and with a smile I will be back Tony says two thumbs up to Wendy's in...
Read moreWell I walk into my hometown Wendy's today thinking that I'm going to get some really good quality food with a good beverage. I really don't know how to explain this other than it was horrible. They were out of numerous drink flavors. There was no ice in either fountain machine. I ordered a sandwich that come on a pretzel bun and didn't find out until I had already paid for my meal that they didn't have any pretzel buns. So their option was like sir would you like us to put this on a premium bun, and I was like well yeah I guess so got no choice. The fries were not fresh at all they weren't horrible but they were far from good. My chicken sandwich that I got was dry you could tell it hadn't been freshly cooked and bacon was just like all kinds of chewy with fat on it. Nasty nasty nasty. When I go up to the side counter to get some salt guess what no salt so then I have to go to the front counter and be like hey can I have some salt packets and they're like no sir because we don't have any salt packets so then they give me a little cut with salt in it which it does a trick but I mean like come on... Anyway enough of me ranting. I just always come to Wendy's and got some really good food and service and everything and this time not so much so. I mean the service was good I can't deny that it's just they were out of everything and plus the food was it cooked fresh. So the point I'm trying to make is going to be a long time before I go back to Wendy's at least in Glasgow...
