One word..Incompetence! Whoever worked the evening of 3/30/24, this is for you. Go through the drive thru with the wife. Simple order. $6 double bacon cheeseburger biggie bag (dbl bacon cheeseburger, 4pc nugget, junior fry and soda). Ask for a Diet Coke and honey mustard for the sauce. Wife gets a $5 junior cheeseburger biggie bag (same thing except junior cheeseburger). Diet Coke and honey mustard as well. And a dreamsicle frosty. Pay and collect food. Quick check while in the drive thru and confirm 2 sandwiches, 2 sodas, 2 nuggets, some fries and frosty. Get to destination parking lot. Take sips of sodas. One Dr. Pepper and one Regular Coke. Call Wendy’s, ask to speak to manager, girl comes on that sounds like the first girl on the phone..tell her issue, she says she can’t credit us unless we come back. We said that we were already 10 minutes away and not coming back. Asked if they could do anything else. She had no clue. Asked that she put my name on the “list” that all fast food places have for these instances. She said okay and then says “have a good evening” and hangs up..without ever taking my information! Call back and say we must’ve gotten disconnected and proceed to give her my info. Takes it down and we hang up. Go into destination and sit down. Open food up. Missing a nugget in one order, no honey mustard or sauces at all, one napkin given entirely, random order of fries, and frosty is not “frosty”. Not worth the gas to go back or the time on the phone. Go...
Read moreVery disappointed with this place. I chose to go here specifically for their mushroom bacon burger. At the drive through i ordered a double mushroom bacon plus a Dave's double cheeseburger. They weren't busy when I pulled up shortly before 6pm. The order was quickly taken but after taking my money they asked me to pull forward. I did, then waited 12 minutes for them to bring it out. The bag only had one burger in it. I told the person who delivered it I had the wrong bag. They apologized, took the bag and said they would be right back. 8 minutes later, they came back with the same bag, and they added a second burger. When I got home and opened it up, they had the Dave's double right, but the second burger was a single cheeseburger. I chose Wendy's because I wanted the mushroom bacon burger. I paid for a mushroom bacon cheeseburger. I never received a musheoom bacon burger. After waiting 20 minutes you would think they could at least get the order right. 20 minutes is not a rushed order. They had plenty of time to double check. The only good thing i can say is the Dave's double was hot and fresh. Nothing else was. This meal cost $21.62. I feel ripped off. Sure they gave me a lot of apologies but apologies feel hollow if they can't...
Read moreI ate at Wendy’s as a kid and up till my first year of college. For the most part my experience was good and not bad. Been going there lately when I need something fast and don’t have time to cook.
Yesterday I ordered a chicken sandwich and to my surprise for the first time ever in my life with fast food my tongue was burnt from eating a chicken sandwich. In my entire life of take out/fast food I’ve never had that happen.
I went to talk to the manager the next day as my tongue was still hurting to let them know. I was nice and didn’t shout or spew rudeness. The manager said she appreciated me letting them know, which I was thankful for (I believe she was genuine when she said that part). I was not thankful however for her giving excuses saying that it’s just the fryers as if that’s normal. I felt instead of giving an excuse and pretending like it’s normal, just the apology that she gave me was all that was necessary. I felt like I was getting excuses.
All in all I see both sides as they probably get complaints on a weekly basis. But still, having your tongue burnt from a chicken sandwich Is not normal. Anyways I can’t risk that again here...
