Bump's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Glencoe

We ordered take out, Worst decision because their takeout boxes required cooks to pile food together on top making the presentation disgusting.. more like truck stop food. One order was the steak and eggs. A slab of meat so severely marbled in fat their was hardly meat on this piece however the meat there was had literally no flavor. No salt or pepper and asking for medium does not mean put the steak on at the same time as everything else it means slightly pink whereas our meat came home grey and disgusting. The next dish was the eggs hash browns and ham with a cheese "sauce" with everything being "homemade" I really doubted this "sauce" could be also.. I was correct. I got folded eggs on top of cold hash browns and clearly store bought cubed ham that was chewy and gross and the sauce was like kraft macaroni sauce orange and warm too basically.. the best part was the soggy toast and peanut butter.. oh and the store bought cheesecake they displayed as homemade also.. worst...

Nick does such an amazing job and so does his team. Especially since I struggle with gluten and dairy issues. He did an incredible job at answering all my questions and making sure that I had options that were gluten and dairy free so that I could be sure that what I was eating for myself the day of the wedding wouldn't make me feel off. But then he also killed it with his team to make all the food for the wedding meal absolutely delicious. Everyone had such great things to say about the food and we all enjoyed it so much. The care he takes to also serve the head table and make sure we were happy and full also made us feel great about the night. I cannot say enough good things about how helpful and caring Nick and all his staff was in helping us every step of the way. Thank you Nick for everything and for the great meal on our wedding day! I highly recommend that you book them for your reception dinner needs as you will not be disappointed and will leave...

Not only does this restaurant have some of the best food around, they are kind friendly and inviting. I love the staff at BUMPS.

To to it off it's a great work environment for teens and is family friendly. This was also my son's first job (he's autistic) he was there 2 years and he learned so much working with the bumps team. He was treated like everyone else and it taught him so much. They are the best family restaurant I've ever been to.

Nick is the best shift manager ever, he's funny, outgoing, genuine, and honest. If your in when he's working make sure you say hi he's a great guy!

The food is delicious, the beef commercial is to die for! My favorite are any salad with their in-house made raspberry vinaigrette. The big bumps omelette. The pancakes are yummy! Wow honestly I've never eaten anything there I didn't like. Oh and the bread sticks!.... Yes it's a must go if you want...
