I was trying to buy a can of red paint. He asked for the paint code. The internet said “#cc0000”. So I told him “cc0000” He said, “no. It should start with two letters and then 4 numbers” I said “cc0000” He said “no.” I asked if he wanted the RGB code. “No. What are you trying to paint?” “A red Honda scooter.” “I can’t sell paint for Scooters.” “… … …huh?” “We cant paint Scooters.” “Oh… Kay… Am I allowed to buy the paint?” “Yes. That’ll be $109.00” I paid the man. Took the paint home, tried to paint the scooter. HE WAS RIGHT!! Old school paint just runs off of a scooter! It sticks to cars, walls, canvas, glass, plastic, wood, and concrete. It’s the nicest paint I’ve ever used! It’s beautiful! but it will NOT adhere to a Honda scooter. IT WILL paint a Honda grom. Interestingly enough, it WILL paint a Honda Navi! But no Scooters! It’s the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. These guys know their stuff! Great customer service!...

Ivan was super helpful at first but then starting making the paint before I could tell him what I wanted in it and just started making it off the paint code. Still contacting my painter he just simply continues and assumes that I have to pay for whatever he was making. I said what I needed, he then replied that he has “stuff to do” and that he is busy today and has to deal with other shops. Didn’t make much sense to me but that’s just the paint business maybe. My knowledge on painting is very surface level but, it seemed super snarky and just uncalled for. Im sure this place is great just a bad...

I always get treated good at the 59th store, shopped a couple times at 35th ave. store, same story there. Old School has some good people in...
