Update to my update to my update: The next visit back (I moved away for a couple of years and then moved back. Still amazing after all these years. Excellent and friendly service, food is always made to order so it's fresh. delicious food! Support your local family own business. This one is a true gem!

Went back today and let me start off by saying that the place was busy, the customer service was A+, and the service was quick. All excellent! I ordered a meatball sub. I uploaded photos and let you be the judge.

In short: Cheesesteak... very good Meatball sub - very good Value... you be the judge Customer service.. EXCELLENT!

Update to my review below: Received a response from the owner! Now that is true customer service!!! I also love the fact that it's not only a local business but it's a Mother/Son operated family business. For this I am changing my rating because in responding to me shows they truly care about customer support and their business. It also means they care about every aspect of their business. I'll be back... I'm actually craving a cheese steak and I really want to try the meatball and chicken parm subs!!

Stopped in today and was long awaiting this because it was very hyped up by Nextdoor. Walk in and the there were no customers... one dude standing behind the register. This is my first time at this place so naturally I had questions! This person was not at all customer friendly, he made me feel like was interrupting his day. It was a little uncomfortable. At no time did I see anyone else but I did hear talking coming from the back.

The cheese steak... Good! Fresh meat, really nice sub roll, and cooked nicely. It wasn't the best I have had but just really good. I enjoyed it. 4 stars for me! I would give 3 because of that guy behind the register but that shouldn't have any reflection on the product so I'm keeping it 4 stars. I see so many reviews on Google that trash a place with 1 star because they wouldn't honor a coupon and they never even ate at the place. That's not cool! I can not recommend this small counter location for people that need a Gluten Free meal.

I went in tonight and specifically told the gal behind the counter

1 - that I had ordered a cheesesteak on a bed of lettuce here before

2 - that I could not eat the bread or gluten

Then I reminded her after I had ordered, that the cook needed to assemble my order without a bun

I tipped the gal $5 on a $42 order at a place that only offers counter service.

Then I was served, almost 30 minutes later, my order ON A BUN!

After telling them that I "couldn't eat it like this", my husband caught the cook trying to slide the meat off the bun onto the lettuce. This could have made me very, very sick!

Needless to say, we won't be going back. I don't want to take the risk of getting sick! Excellent cheesesteaks! Two weeks ago, on my husband's birthday, it was just too hot (119???) to go out and this small business had run out of bread on Saturday, so today's visit was a belated birthday lunch.

The counter person was extremely friendly and helped me order a "gluten free" version of their famous ribeye beef cheesesteak on a bed of lettuce. They served it in a "to go" box and it was very delicious, melting in your mouth, almost no chewing required! I asked for grilled onions and mushrooms, which really gave the dish a wonderful flavor.

My husband enjoyed the 12 inch cheesesteak. His only comment being that the sandwich was a little juicy but he eats his sandwiches with a fork and knife, so it was not a...

Heard about this place on Nextdoor but never went to try it until today. It's a local business and any time I get out food, I want to make sure that I am going there to support them.

Ordered a Meatball sub with an order or fries. I know, I know... I should have ordered the cheese steak but you need to understand that I am an Italian who grew up in NY. Sunday were always meatballs! So, that's what I ordered!

Customer service: 5 stars! Wow! What a pleasure it was to be there. Very friendly and fast service.

Food: Meatball sub - 5 stars!!! They told me when I walked in that everything they serve is made to order but I didn't think anything of it UNTIL my very first bite! This sandwich was SO delicious! AMAZING! The bread was fresh, the cheese and sauce totally fresh. With every single bite, I enjoyed this sandwich so much!

Fries: WOW! The fries were so good I had to keep it separate from the sub. 5 stars om the fries!! Delicious!

They have a customer for life in me! I can't WAIT to try their cheese steaks! If their meatball subs are this good?? OMG! I'm going to have a hard time not having the meatball again.

5 star experience all the way around! People, you need to come here! Support your local business and, in this case, treat yourself to a delicious FRESH sandwich! So convenient, right off the 101 and 59th! You NEED to try...
