Going to take this as an opportunity to give my whole annoyed spiel on the tipping absurdity. I will preface by saying I worked in customer service for years and would have never, ever in a million years treated someone worse because they didn't tip. However, this has happened to me multiple times, and I know it has happened to other people as well. I will also say that I have a job that RELIES ON TIPS, I have a job that is historically known to receive tipis for actual work and services that have been provided, and the low salary reflects this. So given those two things, I have to say that I'm truly disgusted when I pay at the register, and the cashier gives me a dirty look and a reluctant farewell instead of what I HAD BEEN accustomed to for years....a pleasant " thank you and have a nice day!" With a smile. If I don't tip, I don't get a thank you for being a patron and buying from the establishment, and I don't get a pleasant farewell OR a wish for a nice day. What I get is more close to a grunt, if they haven't just decided to completely ignore me all together and turn around before even wishing me a farewell and before I have even walked away. This is absolutely shameful. And you people who are so entitled need to recognize that there are people who come to your establishment who work for low pay and depend on tips, and are NOT going to want to tip you for asking what their order is and pushing buttons on a cash register. In fact, it actually angers me that you even pressure people into tipping like this, because by doing this you're potentially taking tips away from the people who do work and get paid primarily ONLY with tips! You're ruining the tipping ecosystem with your entitlement and greed. You are NOT OWED A TIP and we do not HAVE TO give you a tip. Your job is to provide good and pleasant service. That is what you're paid to do, and to be perfectly frank, these businesses should NOT even be asking their customers for tips. So this is the kind of thing I encountered when I came to this Starbucks. I'm not sure what has happened to this world but it seems a little like everyone has gone crazy. And these younger generations especially think they are owed everything. It's really abhorrent. I don't expect that this attitude or behavior will change anytime soon..but you should at least know that you're completely out of line with your behavior, attitude, and...
Read moreI practically live here. All the baristas know me, and they're all so nice. I've been doing college work here for 7 years, and it's always been the best place to get my homework done. They let you stay as long as you want, but I recommend buying something, even a refill, every few hours. Just to be courteous of their space. There's plenty of places in the complex to get actual food, and I always bring it back to Starbucks to eat it there with my coffee. They have plenty of power outlets for all your tech needs. The ambiance is wonderful, the people are nice. I'll let you in on a secret: for years I've just left my stuff at my table when I go to the bathroom, and nothing has ever been stolen. It's that kind of place. Not that I would recommend doing that, but I'd venture you can. Shoutsout to Hanna and Devin for being the greatest...
Read moreI am frequently in this location. I have never had a negative interaction with any of the staff or other patrons. Everyone is always incredibly friendly. The only reason I am. Not giving five stars is due to the last four times I have ordered in the app my order has not been correct. It's only when I order a quad espresso in a grande cup. It has been served over ice the last four times. I even asked the batistas if I am doing something incorrect on my end because I want it hot. Two of them confirmed that I ordered correctly, it was just a mistake on their part. Ok, no worries at all. But it continues to happen. I don't understand why. They offer to remake my drink, but I am not usually able to wait. I know it's not the end of the world, but it is getting a little...
