Sully's Erumi Sushi — Restaurant in Glendale

Our new sushi place! We went to Sully’s for dinner on a Friday night. We were seated immediately. My husband ordered the Beef Bowl and I ordered the small sushi combo with a salmon roll. We got 2 miso soups and gyoza to share. The miso was delicious and flavorful! The gyoza was crispy and the dipping sauce was fresh and zesty tasting. My husband loved his bulgogi beef rice bowl with salad and my combo nigiri was so fresh and the fish was very flavorful. The rice had a nice level of seasoning as well. Our server was very attentive and polite. She was helpful with any questions we had about the menu. The atmosphere was casual, very clean, and modern inside. There were several small families with children, couples, and small groups. The restaurant is small, so I would not suggest a big group without calling ahead to make arrangements.

10/10 we will be returning...

So Happy this place is now open! This place is amazing! . I love the service and how everything just explodes with flavor! . We have taken kids here and people who have never tried sushi before! . If you love fresh sushi and prompt service, give this place a shot! . We have been here a handfull of times and have not had a bad experience. . I just about gave up on Bell Rd sushi untill I gave this one a try. . The specials they have are all outstanding and taste amazing. I absolutley love it and will be back as soon as I can. . The "Sunshine Roll" has to be my current favorite on the specials list! We even had a friend who only orders chicken from a sushi place, try the Hamachi, which was yellow tail collar. Currently in the area visiting and we wanted sushi for our valentine’s day meal. We chose Sushi Island and we were not disappointed. I had seared tuna nigiri, a salmon roll, a tuna roll, a yellowtail roll, and a spicy tuna roll. My partner had the korean ramen with chicken, shrimp tempura roll, and a philadelphia roll. All of the ingredients were extremely fresh and tasted amazing.

I watched the sushi chef as he prepared rolls and you can tell he is a master at his craft. The rice was perfectly prepared and the rolls themselves were beautiful as well as well constructed.

The server was extremely friendly! She interacted with our daughter and I overheard her taking time to explain the menu items very thoroughly to another patron.
