Better Business Bureau complaint #21978553…Bugs! I waited to post a review hoping this store would make this right. I bought a beautiful wood console in Feb 2024. I noticed a little powder on the ground every time i cleaned from the time I put it in my home. We thought it was from opening the drawers. Little did we know something was eating the unit from the inside out. I had Moxie Pest Control come out since they service my house regularly. They told me it was Powder post wood beetles. They eat on wood reducing it to powder. I have included notes from them. I contacted the business, and kept getting “someone will call me back.” I filed a BBB complaint and they never responded to the complaint. Look it up on BBB website. According to Moxie these bugs live in trees, warehouses but not common in the area I live. They are not in my home anywhere. They only exist in the piece of furniture bought from them. I have other wood furniture that I have had for years. Nope! They aren’t in anything but this piece. You don’t see them, but you see the damage if you look closely. I was told by Daniel at the store that there was no way they could live in a piece that long. Well, everyone research says that these wood beetles can live 3-5 years eating on a piece of furniture. He also told me the piece was in a warehouse for a year. I have included pictures. Enlarge to see all the piles of powder inside and the very tiny holes they chew to get out. He also said he would pay for the treatment. I would have been ok with that, but never contacted me. If anyone is noticing this on a wood piece from the store, please contact me. We may be able to do a class action. Lastly, I filed a complaint with the attorney general. Daniel told me he didn’t want to be out the money. I also sent pictures to them and written responses by way of email. I was never contacted. I had to call them every time. Great Customer Service! I tried treating the unit but after treatment, I still see wood powder. So the unit is outside now. Do your research before shopping here. They do not stand behind what they sale. Good prices but beware of the unwanted residents. It’s super funny that you have time to respond to bad reviews , emails or returning calls to customers. After response: a pest control company has served my home for 2 years. Never an issue. It wasn’t until this piece came in. And the bugs are only in this piece.

I have purchase furniture from the store several times in the past and have had pleasant experiences in both those times. However, upon purchasing furniture this past weekend (10/12/24), I was surprised to say the least considering how I was treated as a customer, and the scam that the delivery driver tried to pull on me. I had purchased two mattresses and a living room set from a younger salesman at this establishment. We had worked out a deal at the very end for the pricing for the furniture, mattresses, and the delivery from their third party delivery service. Everything was agreed upon and it was a done deal. Fast forward to Friday 10/18/24, The delivery driver is an hour late, comes only by himself, and he himself is incapable of carrying the furniture on his own and request my help to unload it. I offer my help because it's my furniture, he instructs me there is a second load he has to go get and he will be right back. On his return, he text my sister and lets her know he is on his way and that he will be dropping the small pieces that were left, along with collecting payment for delivery. I have called the store to inform them that there must be a mistake and that what were we going to do about me essentially having to help unload my own furniture even though I paid for delivery. They inform me that they are not responsible for anything from the delivery company in that I was obligated to pay him the delivery fee. I inform them that I would be stopping by the store today 10/19/24, to not only find a resolution for this situation, but also rectify the young man's behavior in the way that he talked to my sister via text message. If I can upload a screenshot, I will share that along with this. If you're coming to the store leaving you're getting a good deal, good customer service, you were falsely mistaken. Take this as a warning, stay away from this business. If you further read the reviews, you will see that the store actually defends their atrocious behavior.

First able I want to start off by saying “Thank God” we live in a free country where freedom of speech is allowed. My google review has been reported multiple times by “an obvious Source”in efforts to shut my voice. I will still talk about my personal experience because it is important for others to know. I won’t mention any names or specific details since that is what it’s been used to report my google reviews, to keep the public in the dark. I would like to start off by saying at all costs “Avoid” this Nightmare. I went to this place in attempt to have a civilized dialogue in regards my order/money and all I got was Aggression and Disrespect from the people in charge, except from one little sweet employee working in there that was nice and understanding. My money has been kept and still no furniture in my possession, I can proof it with documentation. It has being denied, refused to collaborate with me on half the payment I made on two pieces of furniture that it’s claimed to be a special order. I do not see what is special about it when all the furniture has to be ordered in the same way for every person. It is claimed a call was made to me to speak, I have telephone records to proof there was no such call made. I was purposely made to wait until the last costumer was gone to get some attention but to get yelled at and to go ballistic on me. I had my daughter with me and I’m a disabled person. The first word coming out of this persons mouth was “You are wasting my time” and began yelling at me, there was NO greeting EVER-made, that’s a lie. I asked several times to stop yelling at me since that is considered verbal abuse, It was so bad that for a moment I thought I was going to get assaulted physically. I got kicked out and was told the police was going to be called on me. Again, I am a disable small female person, where was the threat I would like to know?. All of this was done to deny me with a dialogue and to keep my money. I have tried twice to get to an agreement and all I have been given is pure brutal disrespect. To conclude, PLEASE read these reviews before you purchase anything from such UNPROFESSIONAL location where people gets treated in a savage way. In my original review I said I had a feeling something bad was going to be done after voicing my problem and it happened. My reviews are being reported with false reasons in order to get them removed. The thing is that if there is nothing that was done incorrectly, why is it that my review keeps being reported by the obvious Source???. People need to take accountability and be responsible for their bad management and actions and stop responding back with lies or to keep reporting my reviews. It is my right to tell the truth. Telling the Truth it’s NOT Harassment as it’s been projected. A business needs to be humble to take bad reviews not just the great, amazing and praising ones like it’s preferred. Remember when you buy cheap you get cheap even on how you get treated. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this...

I usually don’t write reviews but here it goes because you guys have to know! I found uniquities on offer up I thought they had amazing deals so I decided to check them out... The day I went the guy gave me a great deal so I made the purchase but to find out they didn’t have the item I purchase so he told me we will order it and have it here in about a week I took his word for it & a week didn’t sound bad. A week passed I called them to see if they had maybe forgot to call but that wasn’t the case my order still didn’t come in so they told me a order will be coming in on Friday or Saturday. Saturday comes I got a phone call from them just to end up telling me the mattress I ordered was out of stock but they’ll give me another upgrade mattress with no extra cost. I showed up she (I say she because they don’t wear name tags btw) showed me the mattress they were going to give me because the mattress I purchase was out of stock unless I wanted to wait which I didn’t. I agreed and she told me to go to the back of the building to door 6 one of the guys was going to bring out the mattress “they had”. So we were out there waiting on them for over a little 5 minutes. My boyfriend was trying to ask one of the guy worker that bring stuff out if everything was good he literally just ignored him and walked away. I already knew something was wrong. The lady ended coming out telling me we don’t have the mattress we thought we did have it but they just checked we don’t have it. She did offer me another mattress but It wasn’t what I wanted. At this point I was already upset. I live about 30mins away I not only wasted my time but gas too. They should of checked before calling me. She was like I’m trying to help you out I offered you this one you can take or you can just keep waiting. I’m over here telling her I’ve waited about 3 weeks she knew I was going to ask for a refund. This is the part that got me mad. She was like you signed a contract there’s no refunds or exchanges I digged in my pants to check for my ticket to see if that’s what it says. I forgot it in my car then she’s like I’ll show you a blank one.. so this is the part where they get you!!!! I should have read the paper slower I mean it’s big enough but I’ll take the blame for that 🤦🏽‍♀️ Anyway I’m standing there telling her I’ve waited long enough if I would of known it was going to take longer than a week I wouldn’t of purchased it anything from them she telling me the manufacture is a bit slow atm. I get it.. it’s because COVID but they should of told me from the start it might taking longer than 3 weeks they should be honest with customer. They did end up giving me my money back.
