Used to love this place very much, and would have given 5 stars. I've been a loyal customer since the beginning, celebrating Holidays and birthdays with their coffees. Some time within the last few months, management/ownership seems to have changed, and quality overall of experiences there has gone down in general, especially service from certain workers. But the nail in the coffin for me that has left me at the decision to not return, was that I bought Toasted gift cards as Christmas gifts, (and received one as well as a gift from a friend) and by the time I and other family members who were gifted these cards had an opportunity to use them (mid/late January) they were "no longer accepting gift cards" and "didn't know how to accept gift cards". I was told twice that they would eventually be able to, and now have been told they will not ever be, and $75+ total were essentially wasted. This was extremely disappointing and upsetting, because regardless of amount, if a giftcard is sold, it should still be useable only a month later. This absolutely feels like a scam, and I am embarrassed to have trusted this company with my money. It is sad to go into a shop expecting to be able to get yourself a nice sandwich and coffee, only to find out a company sold you a completely...
Read moreLavender Tea Latte with Almond Milk ... I'm starting off with my highly recommend drink to get. I'm not a coffee drinker and was debating which tea latte I should get, and the lavender tea latte caught my eyes. I've had lavender mixed latte drinks but never a lavender tea by itself. If you love the floral taste, this is going to make you happy and satisfied. I'm glad I got the 16 Oz too but now I wish they had a larger size because i could've drank another 16 Oz of that haha
the baristas were so sweet! Love great service with a smile
I only popped in for a drink and didn't stay in the cafe but there were tables to work at. During rush time, it might feel a bit crowded and loud though.
I didn't grab any of the food items but if they're as good as the drink was, I'll have to come back and...
Read moreThier website claims they're gluten free, but inside the store there's very clear signage indicating that the same equipment is used for everything, so it's not actually an option if you have allergies or celiac.
It'd be nice if their website explicitly mentioned that there's cross contamination with flour/wheat bread, instead of only explicitly saying that they have gluten free options. It was very frustrating and misleading that front and center on their website they mentioning being gluten free, and then don't have any protocol for avoiding cross contamination. The sign they had up instead just explicitly said that they use the same equipment, without mention of any options if you actually really need to avoid wheat for...
