I rarely leave negative reviews, but my visit to this restaurant was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life. From start to finish, the service was incredibly poor and unprofessional.
First, the wait times were just ridiculous — we waited far too long to be seated, then even longer just to place an order. And when the food finally arrived, getting the check took just as long. The whole process felt disorganized and frustrating.
The service itself was worse than the wait. I was trying to place a few orders and asked the server how many pieces came in each portion, just trying to gauge how much food we needed. I paused for maybe 10 seconds to look at the menu again, and without saying a word, the server walked off. No explanation, no help — just left. A few minutes later, a dish we never officially confirmed showed up at the table. When I politely asked him why he walked away like that, he snapped back saying, “I have 10 tables to attend, I can’t be here all day” That tone and attitude were completely uncalled for and disrespectful.
The rest of the service didn’t improve either. No one took our menus after ordering, no one checked on us, and it felt like we were being actively ignored. What bothered me even more was how differently we were treated compared to the rest of the restaurant. While we were being dismissed and ignored, the same server and others were chatting, smiling, and checking in regularly with other tables. It felt personal. I don’t know if it was because I’m a young person, but if that’s the reason, it’s incredibly disappointing and unprofessional.
As for the food — also underwhelming. The croquetas we ordered were bland and not well-prepared. The mariscos tasted okay, but the portion was small for the price. As a Spanish person, I can confidently say that both the quality and quantity of the food don’t come close to what you’d get in Spain. If you’re looking for an authentic Spanish dining experience, this is not the place to go in Los Angeles area. I definitely won’t be coming back and I can’t recommend it to...
Read moreOVERALL EXPERIENCE: Food and drinks were great. Service was good, until we left and saw additional charges to our bill! My mom had to make, not one, not two, but three phone calls due to the error made on the server's end for charging another tables meal onto our CC! Then when he removed the other table's charge, he included the incorrect tip amount. This is your reminder, to always save your copy of the receipt! [ *please note that my rating is based on primarily the food ].
AMBIANCE: Indoor and outdoor patio seating available. We sat indoor for their lunch service, and noise level was minimal. Temps indoor was freezing cold. Outdoor patio consisted of tables that were very close together, and some even on the slope. They had live music on Sunday, which was very nice!
DOG FRIENDLY: Dogs allowed, but outdoor seating only.

While everything looks amazing, there are huge flaws with the restaurant. We visited on a Friday night. Expected it to be busy and didnt expect service to be top notch, given the location.(Montrose, CA) The Hostess was quite pleasant and friendly. Accommodated a table change when an outdoor table became available, which for me is a huge plus. But the server and bus boy seemed to be put out by the whole move. When we got to the new location, it took 15 minutes before our server even said,"Hi." We ordered several items, considering it was only 2 of us, and expected an enjoyable evening of food and drink. In the hour and a half we were there, I only managed to get 1 soft drink refill. Our food came out at different times. We waited almost an hour for the paella which didn't have much depth for paella, though if it was a seafood spanish rice, would have been fine. (Yes, its a joke. I do know what paella should taste like) servers refused to help each other, and I had to get a bus boy to ask for my check. The steak came out rare, but we were so hungry from waiting, we just decided to suck it up and eat it as is. Tough as tough could be. The ONLY redeeming thing was the ambiance and the hostess. Hostess got my only refill and remembered that we really wanted to sit outside.
Service was so bad, I don't think I could even try to give this place a...
