I don't visit here often much anymore but, I was here this past Saturday and I was a bit taken aback. There were 2 baseball games going on. Actually, there was an adult game of softball and a kids game of baseball. From the softball game, there was obnoxious and obscene rap being played rather loudly, and I have to say, if my kid was playing in the next field over, I would've had some words with the "adults" about how disrespectful it is to expose such young kids to that. There was trash literally right next to a trash can that wasn't even full. I don't know if it was lazy, trashy people who just couldn't make it to the can,, or if a wild animal got a hold of the contents. Truly surprised at the whole scene, honestly. A park attendant was cleaning up, but for them to have to clean up after others is just unbelievable. People....pick up after yourselves please! Have respect for a public place so others can enjoy it, too. Have respect for the animals that inhabit the parks and have...

This park was beautiful, very well maintained and a pleasure to enjoy. I didnt have the right equipment to enjoy the amenities, however it was a nice calm place where I could kick back and enjoy a book at the picnic tables. It was nice enough and close enough to the restaraunts that I later returned with a friend after having purchased dinner to eat at the park. (Reataraunts around are currently takeout only) and this is a nice convenient place to enjoy yourself alone or...

Being at this sweet park always gives my momma heart joy. It is where my little boys played CV Little League. It is where I would have lunch when I stepped out of my office years later. And today where my husband and I went to remember the memory of our son. We watched the little kids playing training baseball. My momma heart smiled. My favorite place for playing tennis. 2 courts, free of charge. Sometimes have to wait in line but usually not more than 15 minutes. Good lighting if you are playing after dark. Calm and quite, except on weekends when there is too much people on the playground. Fresh air, the court is surrounded with green and trees. Lots of rabbits in and around the park, i am assuming other animals who prey on them would be abundant too.

Situated in the Montrose section of Glendale this is a large well lit spacious park with fields for baseball and softball and pickleball courts, parking is available off of Clifton place but is a small lot and fills up fast additional parking can be found off if verdygoi road.
