I typically don't write reviews, unless I want to give a 5 star to help promoting a business. However, this time I had such a bad experience that I can't help but posting this negative review. I start from two years ago, when we used to take my son to this place almost every other week. My parents even took him more than I did, and the two ladies who are the owners/managers knew us well. My son loved this place so much that we decided to have his third birthday party there last year (He's 4 now). Since I had my second baby, things got a bit crazier so we couldn't go there as much. Few months ago, I decided to take both kids there to play for a little while and it was only half hour before the closing time. I paid $22 for both kids, however my little one started to throw a tantrum and didn't want to get out of her stroller. My son was already playing in the playground for 5 mins, and I just decided to leave since it was too close to the closing time and my daughter was still in her stroller. I asked the staff who was in charge at that time (I didn't know her), if it is possible to give us credit for this time since my daughter didn't even go to the playground and my son played only for 5 mins. She did not accept to give me refund because my son used the playground for 5 mins(seriously?) and the only thing she could do was giving us a punch card and write a note in the back that we paid once but didn't use the playground, and she put her initials at the bottom. And that would have been the credit only to use for my daughter next time. I accepted and we left. This morning I was shopping on Honolulu Avenue and decided to take my daughter there to play for half an hour and we could possibly use that one-time credit. I showed the note to the lady (who knew us well), and she looks at me and says: "I know what you're talking about, but the staff who wrote this said that you haven't paid!!!". WHAT?? Don't you see that the note says" have paid already and haven't used the playground"?? I told her I hope you recognize that we are your regular customer and we threw my son's party here last year. I wouldn't want to lie to you for $12, and even if, how would I know your staff's initials?! She admits she knows us and still says to me: "I've been so nice to you and I have already let your son play here for free before"! EXCUSE ME?? Why would I come here for free for no reason? And if my son came here for free once (perhaps with my parents) that came with the $800 package that you sold us for my son's 3rd birthday! (their package came with one free session for the bday child). I hope she knows that I am not desperate for $12, and I could simply pay and go in, but I got so offended by her attitude that I decided to leave the playground with my 18 month old, and I will never ever go back to this place again. What a shame!!!! They treated their regular customer as a person who wants to steal from their business, and that's extremely rude! I hope they realize having a good reputation is not just by doing a one-time business and it is all about keeping good relationships and having good attitude. I am very...
Read moreAs a business owner and a parent, finding a place that offers a fun, safe environment for my 4-year-old daughter is a top priority. Little Rascals Clubhouse in Montrose, California, is exactly that kind of gem. It's the ideal spot for my daughter to expend her energy in a creative and social setting.
The staff at Little Rascals Clubhouse deserve a special mention. They are not just friendly; they exude a warm and welcoming vibe that resonates throughout the place. It's evident in the way they interact with both children and parents, creating a comfortable and engaging environment for everyone.
What's particularly appealing about this place is the range of toys and activities they have. They are perfectly suited for toddlers and preschoolers, fostering both fun and developmental growth. My daughter finds something new to engage with each time we visit, which keeps her excited and eager to return.
Another aspect that stands out is the community vibe among the parents. There's a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect, which makes the overall experience more enjoyable and relaxing for us as adults.
And let's not forget the convenience of being able to bring in outside food. As a parent, this flexibility is greatly appreciated, allowing us to plan our visits around meal times without any hassle.
In summary, Little Rascals Clubhouse is more than just a play area; it's a community spot that brings together children and parents in a joyful and nurturing environment. It's become a go-to place for us to let my daughter play, learn, and interact with others, making it a valuable part of...
Read moreI had my daughter’s 5th birthday party here! It was the best time and everyone loved it! The space is the right size and contained so you can always keep an eye on your child. The staff is so friendly and everyone went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect!! They have package deals where they do all the work - they made the cutest balloon arch, had a face painter, ordered the pizzas and did all the work that I’d normally be doing had I had the party at home, like setting up the tables and cutting and passing out the cake and then after, they did almost all the clean up. It took so much of the stress away from me. I highly recommend this place for your...
