I had a deeply disappointing experience at Willy’s Bar. From the moment I walked in, I was met with unwelcome stares that made me feel out of place. As a person of color, it was clear I was being treated differently. I was quietly using my phone and laptop while enjoying a drink, yet the waitress repeatedly approached me with complaints from other guests—none of which were warranted.
