Experienced the most beautiful thing happen while eating here last Sunday night. It's a tough time for restaurants with finding help right now and still trying to climb out of this pandemic when no one wants to work and or trying to keep payroll light. Mauricio is always hands on hard at work at one if his locations. Sunday night was extra busy and Mauricio was running around trying to keep up while keeping everyone happy while extremely understaffed. Everyone could tell even Mauricio himself was having trouble keeping up as people were stacking up waiting for a table. Then! This happened! One lady after finishing dinner told her husband to go ahead, she was going to stay and help. She started cleaning up the tables as a few tables haven't been cleared yet. Another well dressed gentleman sitting with his wife and kids also joined. He threw on an apron clearing dishes and taking them to the kitchen where he started washing the dishes. Wow! This was incredible to watch... the goosebumps and fuzzy feeling I got from the loving, caring people in the room. To experience a hard working business owner that has served our community and our families for years with all his heart and soul. He treats you like family and makes you feel so welcome. His customers where finally able to pay a little appreciation back showing how much his customers are truly like family, and care so much. Thank you Mauricio and staff for such a wonderful restaurant and experience every time. Ohhh! then there's the food.... wow!...
Read moreFor Glendora, their Mexican food is good. However, when compared to the Mexican food in the area including Azusa/Glendora/Covina region, the food isn't as good.
I ordered a chile relleno entree that came with rice and beans. The rice and beans were fairly good, but I've had far better child rellenos. It was alright, but nothing special. Someone at my table had an enchilada, which was decent, albeit a little small. Overall, the food wasn't anything great. The rice and beans were good, but not enough to make up for the food.
The service here was incredible. They got the food out faster than almost any other restaurant I've been to. The waiter was helpful and friendly. I literally have no complaints with the service or the staff at all.
It's decorated like the average Mexican restaurant. The inside was fairly clean; I have no real complaints about the general environment of the restaurant. They have a little patio for outdoor seating.
They're getting 4/5 stars here because of their service. If this was based on their food alone, it would probably be 3/5 stars. The food is good, but you...
Read moreThis review is based solely on my own experience at the restaurant. I felt like I stepped into a restaurant in Mexico. Very authentic from the atmosphere, decor, music, employees, and the food.
Service is first rate and my food came out really fast. The 2-employees working the floor were friendly and attentive in the manner that makes you feel like they know you and like having you there.
There are about 9-booths and 8-tables including 3 that seat 6. They also have a large outdoor patio, but I didn’t count the tables.
It wasn’t crowded when I was there. Maybe 15 people inside and 6 in the patio. A constant flow of people picking up take out orders.
I ordered the combination plate of a chicken enchilada, crispy taco, chicken flautas, rice, refried beans, a little bit of salad, and a little bit of guacamole.
Portion size is just right. Not too large, and not too small. For my taste, the quality of the food is excellent. Overall, a...
