Quite literally one of the best dessert shops I’ve been to. I had no idea it was there, but man am I glad I found it. I bought several macarons, a scone and a chocolate raspberry cupcake. And oh my god.

I’m not a frosting person. I mainly bought the cupcake because it was pretty— and why not? But the frosting— it’s not like normal frosting. Instead of the icky super sweet, greasy frosting you usually get on cake, this frosting melts in your mouth like ice cream. It’s not super sweet either. It’s a perfect mix. What to say that hasn’t been said before? Denise Moreno is a creative, dedicated baker. We hired for her to make our wedding cake and what she delivered went far beyond our expectations. During our consultation, she offered lots of textures and designs for cake. The flavors she offered were creative and just as delicious. Getting a sample during the consultation really helped to narrow down our choice. The cookies and cream cake was moist, chocolatey and creamy too. We were pleased with the overall service and ease. How sweet it is to have a local bakery to get any kind of pastries my palate may crave. From cookies to macaroons to custom-made cakes, More Swets has it all.

Personal favorites include the croissants, which are flakey and butter without being overwhelming.

For special occasions, don't settle for a grocery-store bought cake when the baker at More Sweets can design a beautiful, creative cake (think Star Wars or whatever your imagination can come up with). Cake pops are another specialty.
