EDIT: CASH for delivery tips (see full review) I would like to express my gratitude for the owners prompt actions and response. I was unaware they went through a 3-rd party so I have changed my review to 5 stars because it is not their fault. I am unsure how to contact her but her genuine response and my other experiences shows me how wonderful they are. I will leave the original review for people to see what happened. You can also read the owner's response that further shows their care and professionalism. The response completely made my sad night so much better. Thank you!

ORIGINAL: I love cafe bischo and recommend the food. However, I was notified after I paid, to tip the driver in cash. I never carry cash with me so I didn't have any. I was hoping she had venmo or another electronic payment option. I explained this to the delivery driver and she proceeded to yell at me. Then rudely shove my food at me and sarcastically say "have a nice one on me" before I had a chance to ask her if it would be okay for me to deliver a cash tip to cafe bischo or meet her elsewhere the next day. If she had been polite I would have been able to figure it out with her like 2 adults. That being said if you order deliver you must have CASH for a tip. I really wanted to like the food at Bishco. Their menu is great and their staff, very kind, but it was a let down.

We ordered the artichoke melt and the breaded eggplant and mushroom melt. Both are really large sandwiches but the eggplant sandwich was grilled some more than the artichoke one. Coming to the flavors - the mushroom and eggplant sandwich was bland. It could have done with more flavor. So, a spread or condiment inside the sandwich (like tomato passata or pesto for an instance) could have elevated the sandwich.

The artichoke sandwich did have some flavor to it thanks to the olive spread but everything together just didn't work for me (although it was better than the other sandwich). I thought it was a bit too sour, and something like caramelized onions or garlic may have made a difference in how it tasted.

However, my biggest suggestion to Bishco would be for them to rethink the cheese they are using in the melt. The one in our sandwiches was quite bland but I know that goat cheese/cheddar would have really turned things around for them. Ultimately, great potential and I want to see...

First of all love this place food is always really good but had a really bad experience last night so I order a large order for delivery and includes ice cream drinks and sandwiches when I get to the sandwiches they are all the wrong thing so I tried to call back the phone is busy for 30 minutes straight so now I am very angry so I actually have to walk across town after having this delivered already to get the correct sandwiches the young lady that was very apologetic and did make the sandwiches right but the point of all of this is that I paid good money to have it delivered and I tip the kid quite nicely but in the end I had to walk across town I could have done that and saved all that extra moneyI have never put out use you like this before and hopefully never will have to again the food there is really goodbut this was a very frustrating situation when they would not answer the phone so I could fix it on the phone in had to walk all the...
