I've always been a huge Jack-In-The-Box fan, and crave their secret sauce sometimes. So, I was thrilled when they finally opened this store about 8 miles from my house, it's a bit of a drive, but I thought it would be worth it to get my secret sauce fix. Unfortunately, the store has been pretty consistently 'eh' since they opened, and has been really going downhill quickly in the past year or so. A couple months ago we popped in and grabbed a handful of tacos and a few cheese burgers - some of the few standards that have been on the menu for well over 40 years. We were so disappointed to find that the cheese burgers were cheese-less, pickle-less and served completely dry - not a drop of secret sauce, ketchup, mustard or anything else! Just a bun with a piece of meat. (It's what we used to call a doggy burger back when I worked there. It was, literally, what people ordered for their dogs when they came through the drive through.) And, the tacos came dripping, soaked with/drenched in a sauce that was so ridiculously hot that they were inedible and they ended up in the trash. (My definition of ridiculously hot is when you can't taste anything beyond painful heat.) Sadly, we'd went through the drive through and I didn't know that they were bad until we got home and weren't about to drive all the way back. We just wrote it off to a late night mistake. During our last visit, I mentioned it while we were ordering to the cashier/assistant manager (?), not expecting anything (except maybe an "Oops, sorry.") And was told that it must have been when they only had "that extra-hot, hot sauce". One of the worst, true matter-of-fact, must-suck-to-get-food-you-can't-choke-down attitudes I've ever experienced. I mentioned that they might consider telling people when there's an issue like that and he just shrugged. He obviously didn't care. His job was cashier/ass. manager, not customer service or quality control. Hubby and I sat down to eat that night. The food was warm, but mediocre, at best. Then, during about his third bite, my husband pulled about a 10 inch long, coarse, black hair out of his burger! He took it, still attached hair and all, back up to the counter and showed/told them about the problem and they looked at him like he should have been thankful for the extra protein! After a couple minutes staring at him blankly, the guy finally asked, "Well, do you a different one?" My husband said yes, and in just under 10 minutes someone quietly tossed a new one on our table and walked away. No apologies, have a good night, stick it in your ear or anything else. Just dropped the $8 burger on the table and left. Between the poor quality of the food (especially for the prices!), the hair and the attitude we won't be going back.
I went through the drive thru at this location the service was horrible I just recently broke my toe so it is painful to walk. I pull up and right away am getting rushed to make an order I told the lady I lady I wanted to make 2 separate orders she was rude and said oh no you can only make one order if you want to make another order you have to come in. I asked her why and she just kept saying if you want to make another order you have to come in you can only make one order and pay together. So I make one order the whole time I’m being rushed I asked her to slow down and give me a minute which she didn’t I had to repeat myself multiple times because she was in such a rush. I asked her if she was in a hurry. I get to the window and ask for corporates number she said we’re a franchise so I ask to speak to a manager turns out she’s the manager so I ask for her bosses number and she tells me she can’t give me the number slams the window so I wait there she reprints a receipt just to give me the number of the store of which she will be the one to answer the phone if I call to complain. She missed out on two sales because she didn’t want to take 2 separate orders. I literally can go to any drive thru and make separate orders I’ve done it. Had I been able to walk in I would have! What an experience I will NEVER return to this location again. You gotta do better Jack in the Box. Talk about customer service this place had none! I could see if I have 4 different orders and they were slammed but I didn’t and there was literally one car behind me that pulled up in the middle of the one order she was willing to take. This is ridiculous and bad for business. People do this all the time. And then for it to actually be a manager acting like this was crazy to me. So if an elderly disabled person literally could not get out of they’re car that easy it would be a problem and they would make the person struggle to get out of they’re car. What is the point of a drive thru if you are getting forced to get out of your car to order if you have more than one order. If your having a good day avoid this place cause you will be rushed to order and leave a hungry and unsatisfied never again customer! Especially if u want to make separate orders and are disabled and have a difficult time getting in and...

I ordered from the kiosk and she ordered at the counter as an experiment to see who would get their food faster. The surprise answer was neither of us. There were 6 teenage kids in the kitchen. There were no other patrons before, during our order, or after our order for about another 10 minutes, yet it took them 20 minutes to get our order ready. Unfricking believable. I was keeping my eye on the drive through too, I think they only had 3 normal size orders during this time. They seemed to be walking around in chaos, losing orders, and not that many to lose. It was crystal clear the manager was nowhere in sight. It was also VERY telling that a previous patron that had been waiting, right as we were finishing placing our order, came up and grumpily asked them when the order would be ready...who knows how long he and his wife were waiting. We then saw a whole big group come in, and they also were ALL made to wait for long periods for their orders.
HELLO MANAGER. If you slack off and don't show up for YOUR shift, you will lose customers like crazy. You OBVIOUSLY didn't train your staff BEFORE you took the night...
