The root beer float is good. The process is that you choose a bottle of root beer from the cooler, then go to pay for it. They'll give you a cup of soft serve if you pay for a float and you mix it yourself. It's not ideal but understandable. Maybe you could ask them for a separate cup on the side if you want to put a float together properly. They also have root beer on tap but it was a more common one so I didn't get that. One of my party members did, and they barely put any tap root beer in it. I know that it fizzes up a lot, but still. It would be nice if you could try some of the bottles of root beer, otherwise there are so many and there are no descriptions so it's a crapshoot. The antique store itself is cool, but it's not organized according to any category so good luck if you want to find something...
Read moreWhen I saw the sign for a Root Beer Bar I bout lost my...stuff! I freaking love root beer and this place is AWESOME! They have root beers from all over the country and if you buy 9 you get 1 free! They also have choose-your-own root beer floats with either vanilla or root beer ice cream. There were some other menu items; hot dogs, nachos, pretzels...but I was there for the root beer (and antique shopping.) I can neither confirm nor deny that it is "the world's largest root beer bar", probably a bit of a stretch, but it's definitely the biggest in Colorado. My personal favorite root beer is Bulldog Root Beer bottled by Orca Beverage in Mukilteo, WA and this place sells it by the case. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the...

We went there today and both of us were so saddened to see it closed! Thank you for the memories he will always hold in his heart of the special outings there with...
