Two employees working at 1200pm on Friday, June 7th 2024. Waited 15 minutes while a female with her head shaved on the sides and longer hair slicing MEAT at the counter. She glanced our way when walking in and turned her back as if she didn't see us. There was a guy in the back dancing around with a pack of bacon when he finally noticed a line of 6 customers. He asked her if she could help us and she refused. She yelled at all of us in line and said a simple 'Hi' would get us acknowledged. I'm not sure she would have even helped us if we did say hi as she appeared extremely frustrated and bothered by the people who ultimately allow her to have a paycheck. Perhaps mindless meat slicing is the only thing that gives her joy. The guy stepped in and frantically made the sloppiest sandwiches I've ever seen. He was wearing a face mask and he was shaking uncontrollably which didn't appear to be a medical condition so she must have been getting on his nerves too. He slammed the food on the counter and walked away seemingly annoyed after payment. Maybe the two of them are dating and had a tiff but it's not the customers fault. Both of them (especially HER) need some customer service training or just need to be replaced for the sake of the owners business. Absolutely horrible experience. I would rather pay more at Croc next door than give them any future business. I have never experienced such rudeness and disrespectful attitudes by anyone in the 'service' industry. Perhaps she should 'BE KIND' and 'PRAY MORE'!
Unfortunately I had to give them one star as zero stars...
Read moreI often come to this subway around lunch and the employees are very kind and doing their best considering the place is under-staffed. However, the last time I came in there was a man working I hadn’t seen before. As soon as I walked in he was arguing with a customer over change and threatening to call the police, I don’t know what the situation was but I felt bad for him at first because he was the only worker and there was a long line and I’m sure it’s tough being a service worker who is over-worked. So I was very nice to the guy and ordered my 2 sandwiches that I always get for my partner and I: a veggie delight and a Turkey italiano. The man told me I can only order a Turkey italiano online even though I get it every time and from this same location. I explained to him it’s just an Italian bmt with Turkey instead of ham but he continued to argue with me that he can’t make it cuz it’s not on his menu. I was very calm and kind to him but he made some very rude comments asking me if he was speaking Chinese multiple times and speaking very slow with hand gestures as if I wasn’t smart enough understand him or something. I continually told him that I understood what he was saying but I order this sandwich every time and it has never been an issue that it’s not on the menu. Finally, he said he would make it this time but he was going to charge me double, so at that point I just walked out and got my sandwiches from another subway down the road (on union blvd) that has much kinder employees who don’t talk down to me, don’t try to charge me double, and know what...
Read more3-orders, 3-sick people, was there for over 40 minutes just trying to FORCE them to give me the items on my sandwiches, in the amounts I wanted. They argued with me that the amounts of items I wanted on my sandwiches would cost me more. When I said "I don't care just make it the way I want it and charge me more," they still wanted to give me attitude about it. After going through 2 sandwich builders, I finally got the sandwiches I wanted. The ONLY plus was that the extra veggies I wanted didn't cost me extra in the end.
I still feel like DEBBIE should be represented ot terminated for the attitude she displayed. Tou don't argue with a customer. You simple give them what they want in the amounts they want, charge them accordingly an do so with a smile and keep your comments to yourself. Do all this with a smile and avoid any confrontation. You are servicing me. Not vice-versa. Simply do your job with a pleasant face or maybe even with a smile. It's...
