Outback Steakhouse — Restaurant in Goldsboro

Worst service I've had in YEARS! I stopped here for Mother's Day today to celebrate with my 9 year old son and 19 month daughter. First off we did have to wait 25 minutes to get a table. No biggie. Mother's Day it's packed. I get it. But we get seated. The waitress takes our drink orders. My son and I get Cokes. My daughter I order pineapple juice. I then order a blueberry lavender lemonade for my son. We were told that she had to check if it was an alcoholic drink. Turns outhe could have it. Took 30 minutes to get it from the bar. And it was so packed with sugar it barely tasted like lemonade. More like a pitcher of sugar. It wasn't gross perc'e. But too sweet. So my son would not drink it. And that is saying much from a 9 year old. The appetizer and house salad came out at a decent time. But not only was there no silverware on arrival. But the first waitress never noticed. And the second waitress took 15 minutes to bring us silverware...which by then the first waitress got it after I had to ask. I had already hand fed my dsughter the cucumbers and tomatoes. I also had to ask for another round of bread. The only thing the first waitress was consistant with was drink refills. So she then takes our orders. I got a kid's cheeseburger with fruit for my daughter. A 6oz sirloin with broccoli and mac n' cheese with a shrimp skewer for Jaxon. A 22oz porterhouse with broccoli and a loaded baked potato for myself. Took an hour to get our food. When the second waitress brought it out my food was missing the baked potato. The second waitress checks and tells me they our out. Pft! 5-10 minutes later the first waitress brings out a baked potato. With no apology. No explanation. I was irritated at that point. I then tell my 9 year old to try his mac n cheese and eat his steak. He says the mac n cheese is gross. But that he never got steak. Wtf?! How do you forget the main entree?! I then tell the first waitress. She looks at me like I was lying. After that point she avoided our table. A manager brought out the 6oz steak. Apologized. And offered to pay for our appetizer. Blooming onion. So you are willing to pay for the cheaper appetizer that we barely ate. But not the steak you forgot or the potato you lied about? Interesting. So I asked her to bring me to go boxes because I was tired of waiting. I ended up giving the waitress a crappy tip. Also. My son's shrimp tasted like it had been rolled in pepper. It was awful. I will never go there again. And being Mother's Day was no excuse. I have been to Texas Roadhouse over 15 times since I've lived here. I have never had bad customer service or bad food. So warning... STAY AWAY! They will forget everything. Will make you wait 30 minutes to an hour for your food. Horrible...

We had a whole different experience..... We were sat down and got our drinks in a decent amount of time. No complaints yet. However, once our salads reached the table, there was no utensils for our salad or plates for our bread. We kindly asked for utensils and waited a while to receive them. The waiter told us that their were no clean plates at the moment and that he was waiting for them to get done washing. Me and my family proceeded to order our food. This is when things got wacky. Everything came out at separate times. We were told that we would have to wait on the mashed potatoes because they ran out. At this point, I'm still patient. When we asked for a refill we were told that we had to wait for the cups to come out of the dishwasher. Ok. When my mother's prime rib came out she was asked to check and see if she would like it to be cooked longer because all of their prime rib was "rare" and they had to pansear hers. My mother and brother ordered asparagus with their steak. My brothers asparagus took 5 minutes longer than my mothers to come out and they ONLY SERVED HIM 5 PIECES! When we asked why, our server tried to make light of the situation and said "it was every man for himself back in the kitchen." Even if they were low on asparagus, there was no need to serve us 5 PIECES! We would've rather waited for a fresh, hot plate when they were ready. At this rate, my step-father went to talk to the manager and explains the situation. She wants to "help fix our experience". So she comes back to our table with 2 plates of asaragus. The waiter was doing the best he could in his situation and tried to make things better with a free dessert for the four of us which was generous. When we received our bill they had taken an appetizer and a meal off the check which was the least we expected after our unfortunate circumstances. With the abundance of steakhouse restaurants in Goldsboro, North Carolina, I will probably not be coming back to...

Black curly hair in our food So I would like to start with we ate here one year ago party of 14 was the best meal them and I had ever had . That being said today march 1 2025 we had 14 in our party ate here today at 4 pm worst meal everyone had steak was so chewy no one ate it some took it home we all have chicken s not to eat ourselves . Blooming onion so greasy, you couldn't eat it. Cheese and bacon Fries that you couldn't tell had any cheese or bacon and soggy. None of the stakes were cooked correctly . We had a cake and they offered to keep it in the back for us until we were done eating. The waitress rolled her eyes.When we asked to get it one of our persons ordered a mixed drink got it within five minutes, ordered another one to go with their meal and they brought it after he paid the check 1 hour later everyone had forgot about it and they still wanted him to pay for it, and all the ice had melted in it . They did not give the military party in my group a discount. I paid for 3 of the sixteen.It was a hundred and sixty dollars and no one got anything special they trick you into an extra two dollars. Asking you if you want garlic butter on your steak, never.Mentioning that there's an upcharge nor is it in the menu each of us got a meal with two sides all of us was missing a side and we told the ladys they bring it to your table never got them till about to leave tea was always empty beg for refills 4 or 5 times no ice bur mostly it's craxy last year the 3 of us got the same thing and was 69 dollars same meal less then 12 months later have the quality was 160 half the size . Eeve the tea 1.99 last year 3.99 this year how van they justify this . It was dead no one in the store when we got there when we left it was getting full on top of this we still payed the waitress a 30 dollar tip because ninety percent of it was out of...
