The pizza is mediocre and doughy if you like it that, but I always tell them to make it well done to make it more tolerable. My kids wanted pizza and they like the steak and cheese. When ordering on the weekend the wait time can be anywhere from 90min to 2 hours for delivery. We weren't very hungry just yet so whatever. It had been an hour and 45 min and I hadn't heard from the delivery driver as I do most times so I called. I was told that "I" gave them the wrong address AND wrong number so the delivery attempt was unsuccessful as if it was my fault. I logically explained to the guy stating if I wanted to waste his time giving him fake information, I most certainly would have not given him my "correct" Visa number because my online banking showed I'd been charged already. I understand mistakes happen and pizza parlors are very loud especially when busy, but Brooklyn Pizzeria, it is NEVER the customers fault that you heard the information wrong. The customer knows their address and phone number and would not give you wrong information. He told me he still had my order and could deliver it even though it was made almost 2 hours prior to this phone call. I asked if he could make my order fresh, and he refused because he said it was my fault that they had the wrong address and phone number. I asked for a refund and I was told he would refund my money whenever he got the chance because once again it was not his fault that I gave him wrong information. I never received an apology from this guy, and it's not worth ordering fake Brooklyn style pizza that I may or may not have to finish cooking in the oven anyway. Brooklyn, you just lost this customer and anybody else I know. Maybe This can help decrease your delivery times. Your welcome! Oh and btw, AND IF YOU ARE VEGETARIAN, they will only accommodate your request if they are not busy. I was told I could NOT have the vegetables on my veggie sub grilled because they were too busy. So basically I would have had to eat a salad on hoagie bread, of course I declined. customer service and sensitivity training may...
Read moreA while back I ordered a 20-in pizza one of the specials and when I got there I can't say they were rude but they certainly weren't welcoming, because they didn't say anything to me. They didn't say "may I help you" or "how are you".... .... just kind of leaned in expecting me to speak.... so I gave them my name they brought my pizza over.... the only words they said were the total of the price..... I handed them my card, finished the transaction and I didn't get even so much as a "thank you" or even a "git outta heah" when I got home I opened the pizza box and it was a 20-in pizza stuffed into an 18-in or 16 in pizza box all bent around the edges. It was also undercooked to the point there was some cheese that hardly melted if at all. Nice! I thought to myself ... "self, you can live with this" so I began to eat it. About halfway through a slice I smelled the odor of rotting food coming from, yes you guessed it, the pizza. No, I'm not claiming that they sell rotting food but this was my experience and my pizza had rotting ingredients on it somewhere because it smelled like it came out of the garbage could have been the mushrooms could have been the meat I'm not sure. And no I don't order fish on my pizza and YES I do know what...
Read moreBrooklyn Pizzeria in Goldsboro, NC, is a nice surprise hidden next to a Wal-Mart Super Store. We ordered a small 16in Cheese pizza, small 16in Vegetarian pizza and an order of 5 garlic knots. The garlic knots were quickly made, hot and delicious!! The knots are in a serving bowl sitting on a bed of minced garlic and clarified butter. I HIGHLY recommend trying these knots as they were OUTSTANDING!! These garlic knots rank in my personal top 5 favorites I have eaten in NC. The Vegetarian pizza is very tasty, with my only complaint being the mushrooms were NOT fresh, but from a can. They were be no means terrible, but could have been better. The pizza crust was nicely made, soft and crispy. The Cheese pizza was also very delicious, well seasoned and the same soft but crispy crust. The restaurant itself is clean and spacious for a Sunday afternoon lunch. The open kitchen gives this restaurant a nice pizzeria feel and fills the air with all the wonderful pizzeria smells as you walk inside. One small pizza (16in size) is big enough to feed two people without a problem. It was a great experience with great food. If you are ever in the Goldsboro area, please stop by and have a great lunch at Brooklyn Pizzeria... you will not be...
