GameStop — Local services in Goldsboro

Preordered and completely paid for Days Gone at the Smithfield GameStop. I specifically asked if I could pick up the game from the Goldsboro store since I live in Goldsboro. I was told by two employees there would be no problem. The day it came out I tried ten times to call and verify that I could indeed pick up my game with preorder bonus from the Goldsboro store. It kept saying that the lines were busy. I called the store in the mall and they verified that was the case. I went to Spence ave store to find one employee not on the phone so apparently he had put lines on hold as to not answer the phone. I showed him my receipt and he immediately started to tell me how he couldn’t give me my preorder bonuses and he couldn’t do what the other stores said he could. So I went to the mall store and had NO problem there. This is the second time I have had issues with the same employee. I said last time that I would never go back to GameStop. Let me start off with...THE MANAGER IS AWESOME. If the short Samoan looking fellow is the manager, he's awesome, if he's not, he's they best employee. So it's a 1 star store for one MAJOR reason that has occurred multiple times. They lie. I have been told on multiple occasions "no" or "we can't/don't" when I have questions or need stuff done. I can ask them if they can do something that I know they should be able to and they will tell me that they can't, or it's against company policy (even when I know it's not). But i can literally leave from there and visit any other Gamestop within 30 minutes and they will/can do the exact same thing this store told me wasn't allowed, or that they couldn't for one reason or another.

It's happened multiple times and every time i visit a different Gamestop within 30 min and have no issues.

I'd rather drive for 30 min than visit this store again for anything anything...

I don’t want to blatantly state this but I have come to this store a couple times within in the last few months and it seems every time there are more than 2 people of color in the store they will call either plaza security or the Wayne county sheriff there. now it may be just coincidence but when the plaza security walks in and is just watching you and the other customer and only leaves when he see’s you pay that raises an alarm as in did I really just get racially profiled??? Fix this game stop this isn’t a good luck for your store at all next time I will video document proof. So take this with a tinge of skepticism it all maybe coincidence or I may just be right guess we will find...
