Lighthouse Coffee — Restaurant in Goleta

Came to town w my daughter to UCSB orientation. Stopped by to get coffee and breakfast around 7am and it was not busy. There was plenty of parking. The avocado toast and breakfast sandwich were delicious. Really good latte and macchiato. I’d like to personally thank Chelsea and Nikki who took my order. They were genuinely so friendly and recommended the drinks. They even gave me a list of places for my daughter to visit once she moves out there for school. Great energy from these 2 young ladies. Ordered our food and coffee and tea. Two bagels, one with cream cheese and one with cream cheese and lox (neither of which need time to be cooked).. waited for 30 minutes, no food. People after us got their egg sandwiches and cooked food meanwhile we still waited. Went up to the counter to ask where the food was they said “it’s nowhere near ready” ??? And then we asked for a refund and they were unable to refund us! So now they said “someone will call you to try to work out the refund”. $35 for a coffee, an iced tea and no food....

Happy to support the new coffee shop. Breakfast sandwich and vanilla latte were good. Yum! However, I was very surprised and disappointed that 1) my dine-in coffee was in a paper cup (the ceramic ones were right there!). 2) The staff was unwilling to bring coffee to the table.
