Backyard Bowls — Restaurant in Goleta

This is an awesome place. An amazing store. Awesome people. And their bowls; THE BEST. I love how fresh everything tastes, and the Acai at the bottom. My only complaint is in the price. 10 dollars for a small bowl is expensive, but it is a meal, so I'll take it. I understand that all of the ingredients have to be fresh in the bowl(That is why it tastes SO DANG GOOD) But I wish that there was somehow a cheaper alternative. I used to really like this place. The food is great, but the service has unfortunately taken a nose dive. There are not enough staff. It took over 35 minutes to get my order- 1 small berry bowl. (The cashier told the person behind me the est wait was 15-20 mins!) This was not during rush hour. At all. It was 3pm. Only 2 people in front of me in line. I had heard about backyard bowls and thought- oh another new idea. yeah. yeah.

but eventually went with a friend. LOVE IT! I go about twice a week now and sample all the bowls. I especially like the Diego power bowl. It's affordable, organic, delicious and the staff is always friendly.
