This place is really good! I had a Chile Verde burrito which was on sale for "Wednesday" special, and a Pastor taco a la cart. Chile Verde was mad decent! Pastor was off the hinges in a homemade hand pressed corn tortilla, perfect pieces of meat and generous amount of pineapple and marinade seasoning. Chips were delicate, with a hint of season-all like the olden days of great Mexican food restaurants I miss so much. 3 salsas were included with my order without asking (I did ask but they let me know they were already in the bag) and they were all tasty. Prices are a little high but the daily deals shine through. I left a 15% tip and it was under 15 bucks and I am full. My burps even taste delightful. Give this place a try, I almost did not want to write this as the place had only 2 other people waiting for their food at 11am (this is going to change soon once people find out). Staff was nice, inside was clean and everything was new. Go get some! I...
Read moreI love to meet my pals for Happy Hours at places in Old Town. When one of our regular spots was closed, we went to Los Altos...but with reluctance because it's not a place I thought of as a bar. What a delightful surprise it was to receive incredible customer service. The prices were a couple bucks less than we normally pay for a beer and the server kept us in chips and salsa. Eventually, we ordered a round or two of oysters. Everyone agreed that this was a new favorite Happy Hour HQ. If you have been avoiding Old Town during the LOOOOONG construction projects, please come on back. There's more parking than ever with the new street design and the businesses are happy to see customers. Other than the slowdown you may experience as you enter the main drag, things are great once you make it into the business corridor. Be sure to check out Los Altos. If you see a group of middle-aged fellows having a beer (or three) -- come...
Read more4x in a row, our Family purchased Wednesday Burrito Specials, receiving some regular sized burritos and some much smaller ones. NO consistency. NO ONE in the Family, wanted the small unequal One- It lacks integrity. Just like, Manager Alberto lacks: One phone call was met with distain from him & he verbally promised, to fix any further big discrepancies. TODAY, he proved himself by lying & refusing to refund the abnormally SMALL burrito. He claims, He Does Not Care How He Makes Food On The Special Menu, He Just Quickly Throws A Couple Scoops For Items On Special. This restaurant is always empty: Clearly this is one reason why. NO INTEGRITY. BAD MANAGEMENT. 9 other Mexican Restaurants in Old Town Goleta, that do NOT make food like this, or treat customers like this. Please check the photo I just posted: This is what Los Altos gives, for Take Out. Unprofessional on all levels. AVOID THIS DUMP, BETTER PLACES ALL THRU OLD...
