I ordered delivery and specifically asked for a lot of spicy salsa. After tracking the driver down outside I asked her if there was spicy salsa, she told me yes. Came inside and opened up the bag. There are two separate bagels of over salted chips and no salsa whatsoever... Not even a Pico de Gallo. The beans are bland, the taco was over salted as well, haven't even broken into anything else because I'm so disappointed with everything so far and can't even mask it with spicy salsa. Getting in my car to go get salsa from them... Got back to the food and it's now ice cold and everything is WAY over salted. Waste of money. Won't be back. Bummer... I was really hungry and now I can't get the salt out...
Read moreThis is one of my favorite places in Old Town, Goleta. I don't have a TV, so I go here to see the Dodgers. They have been making tacos on a grill right out on the street and they have a cart with everything anyone would want to adorn a good street taco. Their beers are offered in extra large glasses (20oz?) and are well priced. They have tap handles I would not expect from a neighborhood tavern restaurant. There are some great spots to park a bicycle out front and parking is now much better thanks to the Project Connect work in Old Town. I brought my whole family here recently and everyone was happy. Read moreI really don't like to post if I don't have anything nice to say but this place was filthy. The menu's were filthy and had stuff dripping down them. The salt and pepper shakers were filthy and even the ketchup bottle which had nothing in it was dirty. The salsas were sitting open and uncovered by the door. Not sure why I even stayed and tried the food but I did. The beans were OK but the rice was clumpy and crunchy at the same time not sure how they managed that. Didn't enjoy the taco either. Ate there once before and wasn't pleased then either but it was a long time ago and thought I would give it one more chance. Never again...
