2 stars not because the food is horrible, but because the staff are incompetent. We ordered two bowls of noodles and one sample platter which includes 2 spring rolls, 2 egg rolls, and 4 shrimp rolls. The menu says it's $1 extra for the traditional lettuce condiments for the egg rolls (which comes free in every single pho restaurant except this one). The waitress repeated the order then reminded us of the $1 extra charge for the condiments. Few minutes later she brings out spring rolls only along with the condiments for the egg rolls. When we contested the order, she denied we ordered the sample platter (after having repeated the order to us just a few minutes ago). Why would we pay the extra dollar for egg roll condiments if we really just ordered spring rolls? After denying her mistake, she hastily left and later retrieved the rest of the order with no apologies. When the bill came, there was an extra slip stapled to our bill for another dollar on top of the original bill. Now they're charging us $2 for the condiments. When we contested the bill, our waitress didn't bother to come. Instead the head waiter came and told us it was $2 for the egg roll condiments. So to cut the story short, he basically told us the menu is wrong and his waitress doesn't know what she's talking about, and so the extra charge stands...as an after thought. Obviously this bad review isn't about the $1 extra charge. It's about principle and courtesy, which the entire waiting staff lacks. Oh, and short term memory. First and last visit to this establishment.
