Came in here for the first time and was ready to find a new coffee spot considering all the good reviews I’ve read on here but was shocked at how I was treated. I have worked customer service for 6+ years and always have the upmost respect and kindness when visiting new places, but was uncomfortable when I wasn’t even greeted. Rather I felt rushed to order seconds after coming in and felt completely ignored. I just brushed this off and thought hey maybe she was just having a bad day, but as i stood there waiting for my coffee I saw their attitude completely change when a white woman began to order…. Never in my life have I experienced any form of discrimination and I thought maybe I was overthinking. However after reading some reviews on here and also bringing this up to some of my friends and coworkers most of them can attest and agreed that they have also experienced similar experiences! I am utterly disgusted and disappointed that places and people like this exist. My advice to anyone considering visiting this spot, not only is this place racist but the coffee was also mediocre. Additionally, after reading the reviews and responses, the owners seem extremely incompetent and unable to take accountability. Definitely not a good look. I would definitely recommend another local coffee spot.
