I'm going to water burger since the 80s. When they opened app in Texas, I've gone to this store for a couple of years and I finally just stop going because I never get stuff right. I used to call in the order. They would still get certain things wrong finally. I just quit going everyday because it's the only place to open that early in the morning. That will customize your fool. It's on my way to work. However, they always make me run late. So I quit going for about a year? I just started going again a couple of days ago using the online system. I still had to call them just to make sure the coffee would be ready. We always have it ready. I'm thinking maybe they can change minterviews. Maybe they changed their method well. I went today which is the second time I've gone in over a year.No coffee, it's 4:30 in the morning.They know the morning crowd's coming.Make the coffee! But instead they make me run late. Yesterday I didn't say anything because they were a little busy. 4 vehicles in line even though ordered mine online to be ready. But it wasn't but I did call them once again. Hey, will you at least have the coffee ready? They assured me. They always have that coffeefreddie, and that was just fast. Talk not fast food nor fast coffee. Because I didn't call them this morning to remind them to make the coffee. I shouldn't have to do that. I actually had to call 3 times yesterday before that. Answer the phone once again that we're a little busy. I can wait a little bit couple of minutes this morning. I waited for almost 12 minutes after I got there. I usually hold back on a review if it is negative, but the service I received tonight was a joke. Usually whataburger takes a long time in the drive thru, but other than that, I’ve never had a problem. Today they did something different in the drive thru. Instead of one line they made you pull up to the mailbox. WHICH IF THE ASK YOU TO DO THAT, JUST LEAVE BECAUSE IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!! That type of coordination in a drive thru only works at establishments that knows how to do their job and has good management.I was nervous pulling in the lane that doesn’t have a sensor saying how long I’m waiting, and then they come and bring my drink with no straw and make me pay for my food ahead of time. I WAITED 30 MINUTES FOR MY FOOD. Oh wait, they did come and bring me some food at one point, but of course it was not mine because it was for the person BEHIND me. I then continued to wait but was furious when I was still waiting on my food ALONE. NO ONE WAS THERE ANYMORE, even 5 cars that came after me. Finally, they bring my order. I wished I would have checked it there, but I was so angry that I needed to leave. Of course my order was wrong and less than what I spent. Plus, still no straw. Read moreI don’t get the opportunity too often to eat at Whataburger so after needing to burn some time, my family and I stopped in for an early lunch. At first glance, the location is older, a bit dated...just my style. I take my son to use the restroom and it’s immaculate. There’s an employee tending to the restroom and he politely greets us. Upon entering the lobby, it is also very clean and again more staff greet us and are very polite. The attitude of this staff was genuinely nice, nothing forced like it was their “job” to greet patrons. We ordered our food and within 5 minutes it was delivered to our table. The food of course was made to order and was very fresh. As we prepare to leave, my wife accidentally throws my truck keys away with our trash...we’ll deal with her later. I ask an associate for some gloves so I can look for my keys in the trash, he momentarily returns with some gloves and insists that he’ll look for the keys and that it’s not a problem. He quickly finds my keys and then cleans them with a sani-wipe before returning them to me. In our brief 30 minute experience here, I beared witness to what our fast food industry used to be, quality food from clean well maintained establishment with a friendly staff who aim to please.
