I live down the street from this place, and I've always come here, until the Filibertos by Target was open. Today I was craving tacos, and it just happened to be Taco Tuesday. They have on their menu 5 taco plate, and that's usually what I get. Today I started to order, and I order 2 chorizo tacos, the lady at the counter said they don't have chorizo tacos, keep in mind this is NOT my first time here, and I've always have chorizo tacos with my 5 tacos plate. I asked when did it change and she said they have never had chorizo tacos, I told her I have had them here, and the last time was last week, she then talks to the guy in the kitchen, and he says he will do my tacos, but goes back to tell me, they have never sold them...which then I said you guys sold them before, she then goes to someone else, who she called her manager, and comes back to me to tell me, We are going to sell them to you today, but we don't sell them regularly, it will be $3.02 por taco. It's not about the money, it's about the principle, I know what I'm talking about, and I know I just bought them tacos there without even a conversation about them, I just ordered them, pay for them, and ate them there! Needless to say I won't be coming back, prices are...
Read moreVery, very bad customer service x 2. So here is the story... first time recently went there, 50+ dollars for a family dinner, they forgot one of my meals, and when i had to drive back, they honestly treated me like i was trying to scam them. Ive had several fast food joints around forget something in the drive through lately, but none has treated me like that. Frankly, thinking im trying to scam one bloody meal from a fast food joint is just insulting. Well, flash forward last night, when i came there about 9:30ish to the drive through, and the kid just acted like i woke hime up and was bothering him. Didnt say much of anything, handed me my money without saying anything, and handed me my food without saying anything. Frankly, i can and will go elsewhere. I dont need this rude, bad service just for some mexican food (which is good, hence the two star), when taco bell is across the street and they are also building a competitor across the street....
Read moreThis is an OK Federico's and the food is consistently good. I prefer the Federico's in the inner city part of Phoenix rather than this location. The quality and seasoning of the food is just not that great at this location. Also, the last few times I've picked up the Arizona breakfast burrito's for the family, they really have not been as good as the ones at the location on 67th or 35th Ave. Then on top of that, they put french fries in the Arizona burritos to substitute the potatoes. That is just tacky, had I known they had no potatoes on hand, I would have just gone elsewhere. That type of substitution is just disappointing, especially since these AZ burritos are $8 each. Again this I don't mean to knock all Federico's or the brand, but this location needs to step it up, french fries in the burrito's? smdh. Where's your Arizona pride? If I wanted a mickey mouse burrito, I'd go to...
